100%, a ball hitting the base doesn’t make a routine play any less routine. It’s an obvious error
Bob Shreve@shreve_bob

@ScoringChanges sure hope play at KC reviewed. That’s an error on Bazzana in 4th

@bernie_ple28263 Have Bibee in fantasy and the way my league works that error being ruled a hit hurt a lot. I don’t understand how hitting the base matters on a routine play.

There was no error on Bazzana. Apparently, the ball hit the base, and it was ruled a base hit. It was an error in my opinion.

MLB Trivia - 5/4 Most remember in 2010 when a very poor call by Umpire Jim Joyce robbed Armando Galarraga of the Tigers of a perfect game on what should have been the last out of the game. Without using any outside sources, can you name the Indians player that was erroneously a base hit that spoiled what should have been a perfect game?

A gentle reminder that making partnerships like this allows me to continue providing as much free content as I do. Instead of “oh man he sold out”, I hope many of you are more “hell yeah good job Kevin”. PS here’s your FREE forecast with @PropFinderApp: propfinder.app/weather PPS I legit enjoy and use the all companies I’ve partnered with so 🤷‍♂️

@BrianSwaw I know this isn’t an answer to your question but the lack of aggressiveness isn’t my concern with my Bucks. I still see a program that has struggled relative to expectations with upper weights since Tervyl left and it feels like a new assistant to help that issue is long overdue

**MayDay, Maday, can anyone hear me?** The NCAA wrestling landscape has shifted, and portal season is officially winding down. The deadline for athletes to declare their intentions to enter the portal has passed, but it may take some time for all names to officially surface. Reflecting on the past month, I have several observations about the transfer portal that I’ll be sharing intermittently during this quiet phase. But first, let’s dive into some discussion points for the upcoming week. **1. Is the Transfer Portal Still a Goldmine?** Has the lucrative nature of the transfer portal diminished? If there truly is significant financial backing for wrestlers, why haven’t we seen more marquee athletes testing the waters? Is it really about preserving relationships, or should they just be looking to assess their fair market value? And speaking of controversial topics, I have some bold opinions about the Stanford situation that I’m looking forward to unpacking on Monday. **2. What’s Causing the Slow Signings?** It’s evident that some of the top wrestlers are still sitting unsigned, and it makes you wonder what's behind the delay. The reality is, for elite transfers, the portal has often revolved around financial incentives; meanwhile, for lower to mid-tier grapplers, the focus tends to be on pursuing opportunity, which was the original intent behind the portal's creation. **3. Changing Strategies Among Major Programs** Interestingly, powerhouses like Penn State and Oklahoma State, who previously utilized the portal aggressively, appear to be shifting towards investing in recruits instead. This change might affect their involvement in the portal and could lower the overall market value. That said, coaches still report substantial money being disbursed, even with these teams pulling back. I’ve also noticed that programs like Ohio State, Michigan, Iowa, and Iowa State have been quieter than usual this year. What are your thoughts on this trend? Thoughts!

@rose_bookie @anthonykeith825 @Rockies You realize us calling you Kentucky has zero to do with history? It’s the accent, the rooting for Kentucky colleges as opposed to the Buckeyes, the embarrassing “chili,” we just like to pretend Cincinnati is actually in Kentucky because we wish it was and it bothers you all

@doyoubolieve @anthonykeith825 @rose_bookie @Rockies Not trying to be trendy, it’s meant to be an insult and the fact that Cincinnatians are trying to defend themselves this hard illustrates that it’s working quite well. Kentucky doesn’t want them either

@anthonykeith825 @rose_bookie @Rockies Only one part of Ohio says y’all, obviously Cincinnati is part of Ohio but you all (that’s how we talk in most of the state) should be in Kentucky. That’s considered a southern state, Cincinnatians talk like southerners. Have a good night

@rose_bookie @RoBone1999 @Rockies Considering I work in ohio and pay state taxes and city taxes to Cincinnati this whole argument that Cincy is in Kentucky is so stupid. Y'all own the ohio river.... I'll give you that... But you don't own any land north of that river.

@awfulannouncing Amazing news, never thought as a kid I’d miss John Saunders but he was Vin Skully in comparison to Underwood. Manning is fine but he just doesn’t analyze the game that’s played today, all for new blood. Nobody has come close though to Corrigan and Hegan

Point being: Rocchio is your best shot, sadly, at a hit with RISP and you have him bunt after 2 walks?! I appreciate when you get what you deserve so I’m honestly pretty happy it didn’t work out
