@Ayaahh00 If this comment is genuine I truly worry for people who see an INDIVIDUAL doing something bad and use it to hate a whole group. I’ve known many men who’ve been in that situation, including myself, and they’d never DREAM of doing that. And yet you hate them, as you say. Strange.

@ulxma I personally remember how INDIVIDUALS treat me. If a woman punches me in the face I don’t go ‘Argh! A woman who punches!’ The next time I see a completely unrelated woman who’s never punched anyone in their life

@ebelee_ A man, or men? How did this individual’s actions reflect poorly on other, completely separate and unique individuals?

That phrase “men will leave you in the desert without water” sounds like an exaggeration till you read that a man used money meant to save his wife & child’s life to buy a phone & a dog. Whatever level of wickedness you think men are capable of, multiply it by 100.

@frankie_webp ‘Some’ people. They are a minority however, sadly, a vocal one. I’m sure some people also genuinely don’t find her attractive and would say the same regardless of race. I don’t agree or find that relevant but it’s strange to draw such wide conclusions from this

@FPLAlfie @Dino542394091 That would be fine except there’s absolutely no implied physical consent from, say, the managers, who are not playing the sport, yet they get filmed shoving eachother and there are no repercussions

Unbelievable! Never seen the police move so fast, honest man trying to get to work to make an honest living and gets arrested for doing the job the police should be doing! 🤔

@RExposer51440 @FPLAlfie @Dino542394091 There’s no mic drop. Let me rephrase: Why do police in town on a Friday or Saturday night, when seeing two young men shoving eachother, simply break them up and tell them to go home?

@madebyjack @Dino542394091 People shove eachother in every single town centre on a Friday night and premier league football match and no-one gets arrested. They should have just told him to calm down and moved him away

@Quinveer I had a quick Look through the comments and couldn’t see anyone ‘fantasising’ about overpowering her - maybe one. Yes, there are some weird men about but you’re making it seem much more commonplace than it is

@artmuva He looks like he’s black, American, straight but that’s the only one you focus on… maybe he’s just an individual? Why do we have to label everyone and use that label to imply that’s why they act like that? I’m a straight parent and haven’t done that. It’s very strange

Let’s be part of the solution
@Rob50736051 @drewsnx @Mark_J_Harper It is not necessarily the criminal offence of speeding. It is the negligence of: inappropriate speed, insufficient attention, and not looking properly including so-called blind spots. Children’s safety is in adults’ hands. The ones operating heavy machinery in public places

I'm increasingly cynical of attempts to portray CHILDREN as the ones needing to have more awareness in road safety issues + children being the focus of aims to "save little lives". The kids don't stand a chance when drivers barrel towards them. @Mark_J_Harper needs the lesson.
THINK! Road Safety@THINKgovuk

Today is Beep Beep Day thanks to @BrakeCharity! Children across the country are having fun and learning vital road safety skills with the help of Timmy Time🐑 Want to get involved? Check out Brake.org.uk/beep #beepbeepday

@drewsnx All that video shows is someone should say to kids ‘Even when the green man says you can cross, be wary and look both ways - some drivers may not stop! So be careful still’ Yes I wish idiots like that didn’t exist, but they do, and my kids are more likely to listen than they are

@Rob50736051 Whereas I welcome a campaign that actually STOPS drivers putting kids in DANGER.. so we don't keep pretending it's ALL about: "kids running out", "kids not keeping themselves safe", "kids ignoring road signs", "kids being engrossed in phones" etc.

Every argument seems to involve misrepresenting my position. Nobody said kids running into the road or acting in an unsafe manner around roads "never happens".
Rob@Rob50736051

@drewsnx @Mark_J_Harper I’ve literally seen with my own eyes children running into the road or acting unsafe around roads. To say that never happens is ridiculous and naive. I welcome any campaign that looks to save children’s lives. It doesn’t mean we can’t also look at drivers and speeding.

@drewsnx Where in this campaign has it said it’s ALL about that? The organisation running it is literally called BRAKE. That’s a conclusion you’re drawing with absolutely no basis in reality. You’ve made it up.

@drewsnx You said before that we all teach our kids road safety, now you’re implying that is equivalent to inappropriate sex education and telling them about war! You’re really all over the map on this one. Telling a child to be careful near the road is not the same as those 😂

There's societal outrage about early years sex education + telling kids about current conflicts and worst of human nature. A desire to "protect innocence". But society has no problem telling kids age 2,who've just learned to walk, it's down to them to not get killed by drivers.

@Don_Shipp @drewsnx @Mark_J_Harper You’re ready to instantly come to a dead stop on every road which has any obstacle behind? Or any hidden alleyway where a kid on a bike could come shooting out? Impressive. I’ll still teach my kids not to do that, though, as not every driver is like you, sadly.

@drewsnx @Don_Shipp @Mark_J_Harper That picture doesn’t disprove anything I said. YES we should be altering drivers behaviour and penalising bad ones. Teaching children how to be safe next to roads is not a bad thing. How are the two not compatible to you?
