@GovPressOffice Obama literally flew pallets of American taxpayers money to Iran and asked them nicely if they wouldn’t mind not killing westerners. Meanwhile they the cash to develop nuclear warheads for their missiles. Hardly a win.

I speak to well-known Brits all the time - across politics, business, sport. All sorts. SO many agree with every word we’re saying, every Restore Britain policy, but feel unable to speak out publicly. They don’t want to get cancelled. They fear the backlash. They’re scared, to be honest. We are so far past that now - it is too late for yet more cowardice. Now is the time for some courage. These people need to speak out. Sitting back, waiting for someone else to fight on your behalf is not good enough. Will you get called names? Yes.I get insulted as a racist and islamophobe literally hundreds and hundreds of times a day. Who cares. It just doesn't matter. Don't let it matter. I could be living the easy life, drinking wine on a beach somewhere. I'm not. I'm doing this. So my message to those who agree with us is this. Show some balls, stand up for your country. Vote, support and join Restore Britain.

Five years ago, hundreds of Islamists protested at the gates of Batley Grammar School all because a teacher showed a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad during a Religious Education lesson. Within days, he was forced into hiding. Threatened with death. His family targeted and children forced to miss school. Five years on. He is STILL in hiding. Still living in fear. In Britain. And what’s changed? Instead of defending free speech, Labour are now debating new definitions of “anti-Muslim hostility” and appointing a tsar to police it. This amounts to blasphemy law by the back door and it will have a significant and chilling effect on how people live. Labour councils in the north of England have issued advice to teachers warning that children’s drawings may be deemed “idolatrous” under sharia law. That music and dance lessons might breach religious expectations. Teachers are effectively being told to be careful. Children risk being labelled blasphemous for drawing a nativity scene.
No religion should be above the law. No belief should be beyond criticism. The Batley teacher was cleared of any wrongdoing and an independent report said he was badly let down. But it didn’t matter. His life was already torn apart. His children forced out of school. His family still in hiding. So ask yourself, if this happened again today, would anything be different? Or would we fail him all over again? We must stand up for our teachers.
We must defend children.
We must say no to extremism and no to blasphemy laws in Britain. We MUST fight for free speech.

@BasilTheGreat I’ve seen how a single family of violent scumbags can alter a town beyond recognition. This will be EVERY town in the UK before long. Don’t be quiet because you don’t think you’ll be affected. You will be affected. And soon.

I am pleased to have Jacob Rees-Mogg’s support for my legal action against an administrative body related to Parliament - my argument is aimed at empowering elected MPs over unelected officials. On Tuesday 17 March my Barrister, Christopher Newman, and I were in the Administrative Court in London at a hearing in front of High Court Judge Martin Chamberlain. It is a significant case for the power of parliament, and therefore the power of the voters. As the MP for Great Yarmouth, I am seeking to challenge the legality of the processes of the ‘Independent Complaints and Grievance Scheme’, also known as the ICGS - importantly, it is entirely legally separate from Parliament. The scheme’s genesis is driven by the ‘Me Too’ movement in 2018. The ICGS are seeking to use the doctrine of ‘Parliamentary Privilege’ to assert that they are, in effect, beyond the scrutiny of the law. Parliamentary privilege exists to allow MPs to do our job away from legal threats, it does not exist to protect bureaucratic bodies. As Jacob Rees-Mogg, former Leader of the House of Commons, points out in his analysis: “As the ICGS is independent, it cannot in its workings be a Commons body, as it would then not be independent. It is really very straightforward and Rupert Lowe seems to be right." This is arguably the most significant constitutional case in years with the ICGS now arguing the polar opposite of the position the state took in the case of R v Chaytor where MPs unsuccessfully tried to use Parliamentary Privilege to avoid prosecution for abuse of expense claims. ICGS staff are not legally qualified, and this administrative body is outside the orbit of the Chamber and has no link to MPs. It has not reported to a Parliamentary Committee of MPs since 2020 when all links were severed and a panel was inserted. It is our argument that this body cannot claim to be above the law - it is not right that a bureaucratic body separate from Parliament is attempting to use parliamentary privilege, designed for elected politicians, to avoid reasonable scrutiny. Rees-Mogg ends his article: “Thus if Lowe wins, he will not have harmed Parliament, but defended it. For through cowardice we – and I was an MP at the time – abdicated our privileged responsibility and gave it to unelected boffins, who are not so much better than elected politicians after all, but much harder to eject.” We expect a Judgment after Easter, around 14 April 2026.
