It’s a year since the deliberate felling of the Sycamore Gap tree. I still feel its loss when I walk that section of Hadrian’s Wall or see an image of it under the Northern Lights. It meant so much to so many. But our great north community won’t forget. I can’t wait to visit the exhibition at @TheSillNland and hear where it’s Sycamore saplings land. The tree was iconic, but it’s the connection between people and nature that will prevail. Thank you @nationaltrust, @NlandNP and all this sharing ideas of how to keep this wonderful landmark alive.
