Not to make a political party point but economists & politicians focus on 2.0% annual inflation whereas most people tend to focus on 24.0% increase in prices before that & then the 2.0% that exacerbates it.

@BBCr4today However, clearly the majority of the loss of UK construction workers since 2004 was initially due to the impacts of the financial crisis &, more recently, primarily due to early retirement of UK-born workers & the downturns in housing & rm&i activity. #ukconstruction #ukhousing
