Just in the car wash, entered my code, & pulled up to the rollers, then just sat there. Nothing for 2 mins. Risked it, got out, dashed to the machine, re-entered my code & the thing started up! Got back to my car & shut the door before getting wet! Christ I feel alive! 😆

@RobDebenham I take painkillers anyway. Just about to empty dishwasher then nurse visit then I can sit in my chair. Which I slept in last night as it it has a more comfortable position than the bed.

Pals, I think I’ve re-broken one of the five ribs Dad kindly broke for me when I drove him to Bordeaux hospital when SFC was in UK and I was looking after him. I was resting in my (new to me) chair when Idyllic Bramble Kray decided she needed Maman cuddles and really leapt across the room in one leap and landed straight on my chest and I heard a bit of a cracking noise. Since then, I have been in terrible pain and barely able to move and, when I do the pain is awful. In fact it’s so bad I slept in my chair last night. SFC didn’t put The Krays in their crate so from then onwards I had one or the other on my lap so I didn’t get much sleep but was at least semi-comfortable!

Tonight, I’ve thrown together 2 previously made and frozen curries. One was chicken and spinach, the other was spinach and chickpea. Together they smell fab..

@deemcox32 We are off out, meeting Mrs D in the pub when she leaves school for a chilled couple of glasses, and some early evening scran. No cooking for me tonight, but am planning fajitas for Saturday and a lasagne for Sunday

@deemcox32 Bugger, I’ve broken a couple of ribs over the years and IT HURTS! Annoyingly, there’s really no easy fix either, it’s just rest and pain killers..
