I would rather see the Department of Energy Secretary inside her office — making sure we have ample supplies, monitor the situation and come up with solutions.
I respect the authority of the Senate but at this point in time? Secretaries should be working rather than answering questions for hours.
If the Senators have suggestions, I am sure that the Undersecretaries can pass it on 👍🏼

These are **CURRENT LIABILITIES** — accounts payable, accrued expenses, and normal year-end timing differences sa NCA releases. Not secret loans. Not Sara’s personal utang. Fully disclosed in the Notes to the Financial Statements (the part Heidi conveniently crops out like a true disinfo artist).
Now the real roast — compare with VP Leni Robredo’s OVP:
Leni’s budget: Never broke ₱900M (mostly ~₱500-700M). Zero confidential funds. Small operation = tiny payables.
Sara’s OVP budget: Ballooned to ₱2.3B+ because she actually ran **massive** medical assistance, scholarships, and direct aid programs. Bigger scale = naturally bigger temporary payables at year-end. It’s called scaling operations, not “Inday lustay.”
Both got the **same unmodified/unqualified COA opinion** — clean audit on the financial statements. Leni got it for years; Sara also got it consecutively. No “worse” here.
But Heidi, former COA herself, chooses to post **one cropped column** to manufacture drama instead of showing the full picture, the budget scale, or the Notes.
This isn’t auditing. This is selective outrage and half-truth propaganda for clicks and clout.
If Leni’s small-budget era is your gold standard, fine — but don’t cry when someone actually delivers more services with a bigger operation. The liabilities rose with deliverables, not with disappearing funds.
Heidi, you know better. Stop treating the public like idiots who can’t read past one scary number. The full resibo exposes the cherry-picking, not Sara. 🦅
