That all sounds very diplomatic, but here’s the question and the world wants the answer from You- if Ukraine is truly committed to democracy, why has Zelensky canceled elections? President Trump called you a “dictator without elections” and challenged you to hold a vote. So, what’s the excuse now? If you are as confident in your leadership as he claims, why not let the people decide?

President Zelenskyy is not a dictator. He is the democratically elected leader of Ukraine who bravely stood up to Putin’s illegal invasion. Under my leadership, and under successive Conservative Prime Ministers, we have and always will stand with Ukraine. President Trump is right that Europe needs to pull its weight - and that includes the UK. We need to get serious. The PM will have my support to increase defence spending - there is a fully funded plan to get to 2.5% sitting on his desk. That should be the bare minimum. Starmer should get on with it, get on a plane to Washington and show some leadership. We cannot afford to get this wrong.

President-Elect Trump promises mass deportations of illegal/undocumented migrants on Day One of his Administration. What happens to the deportees when their original countries, say Nicaragua, Venezuela or Cuba, will not take them back? What do we do with them?

@mark_joubert I so feel your pain. Sad to say, but in time the blow will soften. It never goes away… but you learn to live with it. Days become bearable but reminders will sometimes hit you out of the blue and take your breath away. Cherish the memories of that little warrior. Love to you.

We really thought this room in the PCU was going to be our last home away from home before really going home. Gus wasn't having it. He wanted to see his friends in the CICU, so he took us back there one last time. Of all the things it is most difficult to lose, touch and smell are the hardest. I can 'see' him again in pictures and I can 'hear' him again in videos. But I cannot touch him again in any sense. I cannot smell him. We saved some of his dirty laundry - wild considering how we used to rush to the hospital laundry room or rush back and forth from home to do laundry. There are some things I may never clean again - though they will lose his scent all too quickly, and it will be gone for good. Miss ya buddy.
