Use the Farce One Step Forward, 50 Steps Back... Wow. The Department of Defense just dropped UFO files. There are a lot of polite pundits and malleable filmmakers making the rounds, trying to be as cordial as possible about what is basically just another joke. I mean, come on, people. Let’s call a spade a spade. The emperor has no clothes. And yes, I am going to run out of clichés. This first collection of information was so badly organized and so poorly selected that it almost seems like whoever was in charge of it knows absolutely nothing about the subject. I have been on the record since 2017 saying that we are receiving some organized form of Disclosure, delivered in a manner being decided and controlled by the very people who have kept these secrets for 100 years or more. Others seem to believe that people like Lue, Chris, Tom DeLonge, David Grusch, and crew all came along independently and organically. Let me reiterate this once again: if the statements you are making have to be approved by the Department of Defense, you are not a whistleblower. You are an instrument of a narrative. In this latest document dump, we were given: Old FBI files that have been public for decades. Videos that have already been seen and debunked. The weird little star video with the exhaust had me for a minute, until it became obvious we were likely looking at a lens aberration from video of a flare on a parachute. I would like to take this moment to remind the Department of Defense that MUFON has the best video and photo analysis team in the world when it comes to this kind of material, and we would be more than happy to help. We also got references to cases that are already in the public domain. Even the image of the three lights over the surface of the moon, with the notation that it might be a physical object, is nothing new. That image was debunked by Marc Dantonio on a major television show around four years ago. So all of this just adds insult to injury. I don’t know how this dump of information somehow opens the door to the expanded delivery we’re all hoping for. Wait a minute. It doesn’t open the door. It reassures us, in no uncertain terms, that these people are going to drag this out for as long as they possibly can, and what we’re getting now is just more of the same. Only worse. For people who haven’t been paying attention, the new narrative goes something like this: We haven’t been involved in studying UFOs since Project Blue Book. There are things in the sky that we can’t explain, but we don’t know what they are. We haven’t been recovering craft and reverse engineering advanced technology. Never. Not once. Scout’s honor. We wouldn’t do anything like that without telling you. We may not be alone in the universe, but we can’t say for sure. Let’s all work on it together. In the middle of my new film, Accidental Truth: Next, there is a scene where a record needle skips across vinyl while I reference Washington, D.C., sounding like a broken record. It is my symbolic divorce from the idea that true Disclosure is going to come from the Beltway anytime soon. The front-facing government does not have the answers. I went inside Washington, D.C., and saw the Disclosure process up close among dedicated members of Congress. Years later, they have all had time to get their security clearances and be told at least some real information. And now, many of them are part of the secrecy. Because a lot of them are no longer saying they want the answers. They are now saying they can’t tell us what the answers are. It takes three months in the pipeline for a finished movie to be released. During that time, especially in this fast-moving field, I am usually petrified that my film will be obsolete by the time it comes out because of some major revelation. This time? I’m not too worried.

My take on the first Trump UFO release is that we’re all larpers. Christians are telling us that it's demons or that there are no aliens. Skeptics are proclaiming that this is all nonsense and won't amount to anything. Others say, as if it’s gospel, that the UFO dump is just a distraction from serious issues. The UFO issue reveals that what we believe has much more to do with our biases than a sincere search for truth. It's sad. Disclosure will teach us much about ourselves. You can count on that.
