@francessmith Especially when you take off the Restore voters who lent Reform their vote. Sorry I meant really bad. Next question, why did all the other parties get such low numbers, did their votes get counted with labours votes?🤔

Reform are now flipping the script now they didn’t win and are ignoring the fact that loads of Restore supporters lent them their vote because they were scared of splitting the vote. The reality is Reform were no where close to winning.

@BruceUnfiltered What about all the restore voters who lent their vote to reform because they were scared of splitting the vote? Make reforms numbers seem lower does it not?

Everyone's got a take on the Makerfield by-election, but the numbers tell a calmer story than the headlines. Burnham won by over 9,000, yet the real driver here was tactical voting, Lib Dem and Green supporters lining up behind Labour to keep Reform out. This is a plain-English breakdown of what the Makerfield result actually shows about tactical voting, vote share, and how UK by-elections really work.

@NadineDorries The true disaster is that so many Restore votes were wasted being lent to Reform because of the bullshit about vote splitting. This election demonstrates two things. Firstly Reform aren’t as popular as they think. Secondly Reform can’t be trusted.

@Sam_ReformUK The real story is how restore voters gifting their votes to reform because they thought they’d be splitting the vote. Turns out that it demonstrates one thing, maybe two. Firstly Reform aren’t as popular as they think and secondly, Reform can’t be trusted.

@SimonDudleyUK @reformparty_uk How do you work that out. Reform had a lot of Restore supporters who lent Teform their votes because of the “vote splitting “ bullshit. It shows only one thing . Reform are not as popular as their would like to think

Tonight in Makerfield proves categorically only @reformparty_uk can beat Labour. Only a vote for Reform UK will get Labour out of power. Only Reform UK will deliver the change our country needs 🇬🇧

@GeoffP_88 @BruceUnfiltered Doesn’t change the fact a lot of Restore supporters lent votes to Reform because they were scared of the political spin Reform tried with the splitting the vote bullshit. It only demonstrates one thing. Reform are not as popular as they think.

@RobGree88911428 @BruceUnfiltered 😭😭 Restore should have never fielded a candidate in the first place. Not to mention the woman was a mess, she did not know what she talking about. Makerfield get what they deserve a squib in Burnham. Why would you vote for someone who is using your community as a chess piece?

The Makerfield numbers: Burnham 24,927, Reform 15,696, Restore 3,111. Even combined, the right couldn't beat Labour. Now Burnham's off to challenge Starmer, the unions regroup, and we're locked in until 2029.

@PaulGolding Supposing Restore finish higher than Reform, how many people will be saying Reform split the vote and handed it to Labour?

You can’t trust Reform UK with our NHS. Nigel Farage would make working people like you pay the price to access the healthcare you and your family need. Vote Labour May 7 to protect the NHS – and make sure it’s there for all of us. 🌹
