Tucker Kraft is a total mad man.

@FAmmiranteTFJ They both are. As a patriots fan I couldn’t be more excited

A.J. Brown is likely to become a Patriot post June 1, per ESPN sources. This and more in ESPN’s annual NFL Draft intel column: espn.com/nfl/draft2026/…

I'm not sure this has been discussed enough with regards to Omar Cooper Jr. While Cooper only played 3 of his 38 career college games against FCS opposition (7.9%), an unusually large amount of his career production came in those 3 games. In those 3 games, he totaled 439 of his 1,798 career receiving yards (24.4%) 5 of his 22 career receiving TDs (22.7%) This is extremely uncommon among recent 1st round WRs. Since 2024, there will have been 17 WRs taken in the 1st round (assuming there are 6 in this year's draft). Cooper's 24.4% share of career receiving yards coming against FCS teams is easily the highest total of those 17 (ignoring Travis Hunter's season playing at Jackson State). KC Concepcion has the 2nd highest share at 10.1%, and no one else is higher than 7.4%. The full top 5: 1. Omar Cooper Jr. (24.4%) 2. KC Concepcion (10.1%) 3. Xavier Legette (7.4%) 4. Ricky Pearsall (7.1%) 5. Brian Thomas Jr. (7.0%) Cooper's career YPRR is 2.47, but if you remove the 3 FCS games it drops all the way to 2.01. No other recent first rounder has such a drop anywhere near as extreme as Cooper's. I currently have Cooper as my WR5 and I do like him as a prospect, but I also think it's fair to ding him to a certain extent for such a large amount of his production coming against FCS teams, and also for not producing at a higher level against FBS opposition. What do you think?

Omar Cooper Jr. is fine enough and still way too cheap in best ball, but Round 1 capital is giving Matthew Golden vibes. Those vibes are referring to pulling up a non-R1 profile with major red flags, due to some individually strong traits and a massive hype train. Golden was a good bit less efficient per route in college, but at least had the early career production and early declare status on his side. Omar Cooper had 267 yards in his true freshman and sophomore seasons (combined) 🚩
