It's often helped me figure out that the bus is never going to arrive, by showing where other bus on the route are. Lovely use of open data. ❤️🤓

As a person who finds the speakers on an iPhone perfectly adequate for listening to music, even I can tell the Mac mini speakers are terrible. Am bluetoothing to a JBL portable little speaker as a result. Anything better I ought to be considering?

@mcaino Changes in who the work is being done for lead to diversion, delay and loss of confidence. And also that users who use the thing might be happy, but 'back office' with vested interests might discredit and have a disproportionately loud voice.

Has Twitter introduced a read only mode?? (Got this from first attempt to post a tweet in over 24 hours)

@PhilRumens Yup. They blocked Tweetbot (and a bunch of other 3rd party apps last Thurs). Was hoping I'd spotted a glimpse of sense y'day, but was short lived and gap in the nonsense not a fix. Now broken again. On the upside I've got a new slot on my Homescreen and a bunch of new spare time

@RobMiller31 Apparently they blocked all third-party apps that use their APIs, without notice, so perhaps it's something to do with that?

Now that @twitter has reenabled delightful 3rd party apps like @tweetbot, is the right response to either (a) continue to ignore it to show that life goes on, or (b) jump back in to show they’ve made the right call by boosting engagement stats? #confusedbutpleased

@ChrisLynham That was from the official app. Tweetbot seems to have a new ‘read only’ mode….. Which looks like an ‘interesting’ double down on odd policy decisions.
