Nigel Farage once said he wouldn’t stand as an MP as it’s difficult to be in a constituency and out across the UK at the same time.
So on a day #bbcqt is in Clacton
he’s decided to go to Sunderland instead.
He has mislead the people of Clacton and should stand down as their MP.

False. BBC's official Question Time FAQ on panel selection has no mention of any rule barring MPs from their own constituencies. Searches of guidelines, past episodes, and today's Clacton coverage confirm nothing like that exists. Farage wasn't on the panel tonight, but the stated reason doesn't match any known policy.
