@Sola_Requiem This is one atheist criticism of Christianity I never got. If there's a God I hope God is extremely forgiving. Because if there's a God and there's a line you can cross where they'll never forgive you, that's terrifying.

@wil_da_beast630 Do you know better than the World Health Organization and the scientists who have studied this stuff? I don't. And I go by what the science says, which is that trans people are valid

@NootShiggerz @MichaelGLFlood I think individual women can contribute to men's issues. And when they do they as individual people should be held accountable. I don't think women as a whole are responsible for men's issues.

@RobWhite671550 @MichaelGLFlood so if women are the problem they should still be exempt from criticism? so women are totally impervious to accountability? this mindset will push more men to hate women.

@wil_da_beast630 Okay honest question, I'm not asking this to argue but to learn. As a young guy it seems to me like we live in a patriarchy. Men are most of the world leaders. statistics show women face violence and discrimination in hiring and the medical system. How is that not a patriarchy?

Anyone who thinks the modern USA is a "patriarchy" or a "white supremacist state" is a fundamentally unserious person. Actual formal discrimination has been civilly and often criminally illegal for 62 years. Pro-female/minority affirmative action has been the law of the land for 59 years. Of course there are SOME sectors still dominated by cocky white men, just as the reverse is true: I'm a former sales and trading floor guy myself. But, words...MEAN things.

@thedragonstea So if I behave badly that doesn't reflect on all white people. But if a trans person behaves badly that reflects on all trans people?

There's 2 particular events in this video that are the sheer embodiment of arguing with these kinds of trans people and the left as a whole. The first being when, on camera, she throws her phone on the ground like a petulant child, right there on camera, in front of the judge. When called out, she says she didn't throw it, it fell from the counter, and doubled down on it. A clear and obvious lie everyone can see, and nothing will be done about it. They lie as easily as they breathe. The second is when the cops were trying to arrest her. While things were still calm, she tried to say that they cops were throwing her over the bench or something. It was a lie so big and brazen that even she had to stop herself and back up a bit. But the point being she made herself into a victim before anything violent even happened and screamed oppression... Then took action to CAUSE said violence in the first place. Man, I'm tired.

Trans-identified female lawyer berates judge, pulls trans card, gets found in contempt, resists arrest, screams “I can’t breathe,” and yells for people to call 911 as she’s fighting police. Absolutely glorious performance. Women should not take testosterone.

I recently found myself in a situation where an obvious male was publicly introduced - to a substantial number of people - as ‘she’. This caught me totally off guard. I hadn’t been warned - perhaps deliberately so. I feel quite sure everyone else was also thinking ‘WTF’. But of course nobody said anything. For reasons I cannot share here, it was not appropriate for me to say anything in the moment. Suffice to say, it gave me a sleepless night. Not just in terms of what to do next. But also because of the utter despair I felt about the situation. In particular, the sheer number of people who were compelled to participate in a lie. And the betrayal I felt - particularly - from other women, for allowing this to happen.

@autocorrect2_0 This is one issue I have with Christianity: I'm trying to avoid mansplaining here but we live in a world with lots of sexism, but Christianity puts men in charge. Isn't that contributing to sexism?

A lot of the problems in this discourse comes from the conflation of submission and obedience. Like anything requiring discernment, these concepts are almost the same. But there’s an important difference. Submission is offered freely, without coercion or demand. Once the demand is made, submission is not submission because it’s not voluntary. It’s obedience. Here’s a metaphor. In Biblical times you could be made a slave due to debt owed. You HAD to work for a man to pay off your debt to him. No choice. That’s a slave. There was also something called a duolos, a bondservant. This was a slave or servant who had payed off his debt, but come to love his master so much he voluntarily became a bondservant to serve his master for the rest of his life. He would take a nail and nail his ear to the frame of the door of his masters house as a way to symbolize this commitment. Obedience is like slavery Submission is like becoming a bond servant. One is forced, one is an expression of trust, love, admiration. When we accept Christ we are becoming His bondservant. We choose to serve Him. A husband should want the bondservant, not the slave. God calls women to be a bondservant, he never calls men to demand a slave. Let he who has ears to hear, hear.

TRUE or FALSE: A wife should be respectful and submissive to her husband even if he is not loving her sacrificially.

@JACBailey1 I don't want to tweet about this topic too much to avoid coming off as performative, but... Generalizations about men are a reaction to years of mistreatment. It's not the same. We do have an obligation to call out sexism everytime we see it.

We have this absolutely psychotic idea that we can't pass any laws at all to regulate any of this to any degree whatsoever. I'm not saying that we can or should just ban AI outright. But why should it be legal for a company to produce and sell a product that has no purpose other than to help students cheat on their assignments? That's literally the whole point of the thing. Why are we just sitting back and taking it? We could be making some effort to curb this madness. Instead we're doing nothing. Not even trying.

@JACBailey1 Well yeah these two things can both be true. Misandry isn't a real problem and men have issues due to toxic masculinity. Women can contribute to men's issues but most of our issues are our fault. And all of them are our job to fix.
