@RobWill112 @BonfigAaron @T3Bracketology Wright St and McNeese were in a one possession game with 3-4 minutes left. Those were not blowout games. Look beyond the final scores. Virginia and Vandy put those games away in the final minute or two.

@HoopzMizzou @T3Bracketology I can't speak for you bc idk you or have seen your posts, but it feels like some want the mid-major part of this tourney to die anyway. I personally think them and the buzzer beaters are the best part of the tournament, so I really don't get it.

This year's tournament has missed the "big upset", along with a mid major into the Sweet 16, but the Round of 32 was great. Plenty of mid majors put out performances to be proud of. Don't let the blowouts overshadow the fun games. The 16 teams remaining are🔥

It's a huge talking point rn, and changes are going to happen. Idk if they will be to the benefit or detriment of mid-majors. We'll have to see.

I think Texas and Iowa would be the only surprising teams to make the final four, but Iowa just beat Florida, so maybe they wouldn't even be a surprise now. @BonfigAaron @T3Bracketology True, but when some games are essentially blowouts from the tip, it kinda clouds ones judgment. If Akron, Wright State, and Mcneese stayed within a possession until the very end, we might look at it differently. Even some of the P4 teams got blown out.

@T3Bracketology It’s kind of sad to judge the tourney based solely on how many mid-majors win. It’s starting to get tiresome. There can be great games/basketball between any 2 teams…

@T3Bracketology It was still wild to see this team that without Toppin win on the road at Iowa State get flat out embarrassed against a bama team missing their 2nd leading scorer themselves.

It would have been awesome to see what this Texas Tech team could have done with JT Toppin healthy. Still showed a lot of fight down the stretch of Big 12 play and in the opening round. Grant McCasland is one of the best coaching minds in the sport. TTU is not going anywhere.

@T3Bracketology Unless you are Gonzaga, the mid-major era is dead. They don't have the money or resources like the P5 teams. When they do manage to develop starts, as soon as those guys establish themselves they bolt for the highest bidding P5 team.
