Football can be SO cruel. Good display by #LUFC and more than worthy of a point. Competed well and more than held our own. But zero goals scored again is not a good look. Farke will have to work out how to crack that code! And quickly!! Darlow deserved better; two great saves

Well Guys! Milestone day here on OnlyLeedsBros as we turn 1 year old today! 🎉 It’s been a proper rollercoaster of a year with plenty of ups & downs along the way! The highs? The giddy little Leeds fans in us still can’t believe we had the pleasure of interviewing Ian Harte, Jermaine Beckford, Tony Dorigo & Andy Couzens in just our first year. The low? Back in April we lost our dad 💔 It was a massive blow and for a while it threw the future of the channel up in the air. A huge thank you to @JoeBlackburn42 for stepping in and keeping things ticking while we dealt with that loss. We won’t ever forget it! There are so many more great memories & people to thank but we would be here all day! You know who you are 💙🤍💛 Through it all, we couldn’t have done any of this without the incredible support of our partners Amy & Jodie, who’ve backed us every step of the way 💙 But here we are, 365 days on, over 3,500 subscribers strong, and we honestly cannot thank you enough for your support. #LUFC showed today they can mix it at this level and were much the better side for the bulk of that game. Add a sprinkling of attacking quality and we’ll compete with 3/4 of this league. Far bigger tests than Everton to come but that’s the shot in the arm we needed today

@iGerLynch Some perspective Ger is good. Realism is needed and were not getting a proven 50 mill striker . Fits the bill if fit. Big and strong . Holds the ball up and can occupy defenders. Needs to be fit. Fitness will determine if is a good signing.

DCL thoughts. Positives: -As a replacement for Joseph and Bamford no issues. -11 England caps and 4 international goals all good - When fit Arsenal wanted him - Dyche football was awful, s=might do better here Negatives: - The injury history - Lack of pre season - Not been prolific over recent seasons If he passes a medical, and maybe a change of style he could be a useful signing. This is in the context of him being a replacement for Bamford and Joseph as Leeds indicated they wanted two strikers after Joseph left. So as an option im okay, but we still need a main goal scoring striker. Stays fit, could be good business, but its an if. The medical will hopefully show he is. If not, free deal and we need one more up top.

@OscarMarrio Totally agree - we need a plan b . Aaronsen is too light weight for English football in my view.

We’ve arguably got the 2 fastest players in the league & imo now is the time to test out this wing pairing with Gnonto at #10/false #9 opening up/creating the space for them. The excitement/energy it would bring to our game having two rapid wingers on both sides would be unreal.

Should have been celebrating a magnificent result tonight. Heartbreaking for Meslier and he’ll be crushed by that. Mind boggling equaliser to gift them. On the plus side, I thought Gnonto was magnificent- clear MOTM for me. But what a shame. Already ruing those 2pts gifted away
