@FionaSturges @GuardianBooks 🙏🏻 for your review, I will be buying my copy. As a chronic illness sufferer who has been let down by the medical professions, we have to work out how to help ourselves. I'm sure Miranda's guidance will be helpful, but if it was blindingly obvious, surely doctors would know too!

The NHS and the government have been told to act to prevent future deaths from ME (Myalgic encephalomyelitis) according to a new report from the coroner's office. The coroner ruled in July that Maeve Boothby O'Neill died from malnutrition caused by severe ME.

For Liz, the inability to communicate combined with a lack of understanding is the hardest part of hospital admissions with #SevereME. Severe cognitive dysfunction in #MECFS is oft underestimated, and as Liz shares, people are being treated like a nuisance. #SevereMEDay
