this broke 4 years of good will he built up with me in one fell swoop (and i’m clearly not the only one) i know the response to that is “who cares: he made a lot of money, he makes more money than you, and you’re just one subscriber” maybe but the real question is: would he have made the same amount of money without pissing off half his fans had he not done this? i think the answer is yes of course we’ll never know but the worst part is: all the MoziBros will see this and blindly follow whatever Alex does without any critical thinking, and the result will be 15x more cold email spam, which is already out of control as it is your heroes are literally just people (yes, even Alex Hormozi) not everything they do is gospel

Next time you think you are sending too many emails to your clients... Realise you're not.

the main characteristics of a bubble are investors basing decisions on precedent rather than underlying principles. For example SaaS multiples are high due to predictability, scalability and margins. but investors forget that and instead base multiples on the precedent of 10x ebitda simply because it’s SaaS, even if most AI SaaS don’t have predictability or scalability. this same thing happened in 2008 when investors believed the housing market was “solid” and would continue to go up not because of the underlying principles (i.e that the people taking out mortgages actually had an income level and job stability equating to little risk of default). Rather, people believed the housing market was solid and housing prices would continue to increase because that’s what always happened in the past.
