First day in my new role!
Extremely excited to be part of the @Perdixwildlife team, and to work alongside #conservationists, #researchers and #landmanagers, to help develop practical/digital solutions for various wildlife management issues.

@Draycotebirding In fairness we are going a week later this year which will go one of two ways. I'm hopeful the week later puts us in Pallas warbler territory.
English

@Rob_bert_White Unfortunately I'll be going back home then

Well the birding gods or any other god did not do me well last year 😲 I'll try again this year 😃

See what the birding gods have in store this year!

@LeeEvansBirding Do you think the Whinchats will benefit though from the early arrivals getting in a second brood ?

@jamesdolygarn @Tesco Misleading or simply misplaced ? The barcode numbers don't match. Could be that someone picked it up from another shelf position, chose local and didn't put it back where they found it, leaving it where the local lamb belongs ? I believe there is a bigger picture here.
English

Thanks @Tesco Newtown Powys. Selling NZ lamb on a shelf stating that its local Welsh lamb. Misleading (again) consumers that do actually want to support Welsh farmers

@MeganRural @MOTHIDUK @savebutterflies @The_RHS It's such a shame because they are a beautiful moth, despised for their liking of the ornamental gardeners pride and joy.
English

Had to look up this moth as I didn't recognise it, then realised that it's the culprit to the dead bushes in the garden. The box tree moth Cydalima perspectalis in all its monochrome glory, laughing at me in the lounge! @MOTHIDUK @savebutterflies #MothsMatterToo #Moth @The_RHS

@suzannecoppen Likewise, it was lovely to see you both again and well done for relocating the Shrike. We look forward to another meeting/catch-up soon. Good luck today, wherever the birds take you.
English

@Rob_bert_White Great to catch up with you again today & to meet Ali at the Great Grey Shrike, New Forest. Suzanne & Pete

@CasualBirderPod
Lovely to meet you today and I am please to say that we caught up with the Great Grey Shrike.
English

@MeganRural Looking at it now from the isles of scilly. Stunning night sky due to the lack of light pollution.
