It’s a remarkable coincidence that the Earth was exactly the same orientation to the moon with exactly the same cloud coverage when these two pictures were taken 68 years apart. Am I now a coincidence theorist ?

Anyone with a brain interprets Trump’s bluster as leverage for negotiation. It is embarrassing that otherwise intelligent people still insist on taking him literally, ten years after most of us learned this lesson. This is not to say that Trump is being wise or effective. But he’s not going to eradicate millions of innocent people, and anyone who thinks so has completely lost the plot.

I don’t see any way to interpret President Trump's "prediction" that "a whole civilization will die tonight" as other than a threat to order the military to commit crimes against civilians. If he issues such an order, it will be the duty of military leaders to refuse to comply.

The problem with moon-landing deniers and other “space is fake” lunatics isn’t that they’re asking questions. The problem is that they’re doing two reprehensible things: (1) they’re accusing some of the bravest and most accomplished explorers in the history of humanity of being liars and charlatans; (2) they make those accusations while being completely ignorant of the physics, engineering, optics, etc., that would allow them to ask and answer their questions competently. Asking questions is fine. Tearing down others in your ignorance is not.
