@sihawk89 With hindsight and from the sofa sounds as simple as that but football moves fast. A young coach isn't going to be rushed into making a decision, especially one as sought after as DG seems to be. As always Simon you are ultra critical. But I always enjoy your discontented views.

@RobbieFox4 It’s negligent in that it’s been 2 weeks since Caldwell left & no recruitment process has started as everyone was waiting for DG. That process should have started as soon as we knew GC was going even if Green was the preferred option, at least then we’d have tested the waters!

Do fellow #ecfc fans believe that Taylor is the right man long term? Is he going to be able to rebuild this team over the summer? Based on his recent track record I’m not sold on the idea. Feels like it’s a knee jerk reaction to DG not signing the contract.

@WrGrecian Yeah your right, only has extensive knowledge of our academy having coached in it, a former player and promotion winning manager on a shoestring budget. Complete example of the club bowing to a few fans. Wow 🙈

To try and blame a defeat on team shape and substitutions that weren't made seems like a desperate outlook. Green is a highly qualified respected coach who was walking into a gun fight with a banana in terms of our squad against Bolton #ecfc

Deserved nothing today, felt like a missed opportunity at 2-1 to make positive substitutions and just let it go from there. Need to show some character from now to turn it around for the run in. #ECFC

@BenECFC1904 Didn't realise how many were out until I saw the bench. The fact he's played so many minutes as well. Proper athlete as well as a proper talent. Will be sold for a lot of coin and enjoying him while we can!

Full credit has to go to Jayden - even coming in on a free there was a lot of pressure on him to perform and he has done just that. The squad will benefit from a week off now, ideally get back some depth for the bench in time for Bolton #ECFC
