@RobCourt7 Hard to replace half a squad with any real quality when you’ve got no money to spend. If we go down crowds will disappear & revenues from EFL/Sky/matchdays will dwindle. Can see us being next season’s Bristol Rovers

@sihawk89 At the end of most seasons we lose half the playing squad! Not defending the mess we’re in, it’s an embarrassment the way we’ve collapsed.

2 set piece goals & a penalty after controlling most of the half. Think we can say goodbye to L1 football & probably EFL football in 12 months as it’s not going to get better. Almost like the #ecfc board not doing a proper recruitment process post GC is coming back to bite us!

@RobCourt7 The club have already said the budget is reducing to a bottom half L2 budget next season regardless of if we stay up or not. The budget would have to reduce even more if we went down. Half the squad will be gone & no manager. Double relegation very much a possibility.

@sihawk89 Predicting National League in 12 months is a bit dramatic.

What a woeful second half. Couldn’t string more than 2 passes together and pretty much gave up on the game. Good luck #ecfc. You’re going to need it…

@tom_bondy They did a proper process for Caldwell to be fair to them. They sat around waiting for 2 weeks for Green to sign. He said no then panicked & Taggy rang up MT cos starting a process then would’ve meant 2/3 more weeks. They had time, they chose not to use it! Negligent #ecfc

@epicfail2048 Those wins look a long way away right now! Haven’t won a game since 24th Jan and most of the squad are out of contract in June so won’t actually care if they go down or not as they won’t be here next season anyway!

@sihawk89 As much as it pains me to say this you are no way near relegation material, you’ve had a very tough run of games. It’s finding 2 or 3 wins and your in this league next year

@coach_kevin_m @RJPcoach As an Exeter fan I used to find watching games unbearable. All you’d hear all game is the manager & AR constantly screaming orders at players. Overkill with interventions during a game is a killer.

@coach_kevin_m @RJPcoach Because lots of grassroots coaches see only coaching from PL/EFL/CL games. All of those games/teams are planned down to the smallest of details with coaches screaming from the sidelines so that’s what they replicate as they think it will achieve results.

@RobbieFox4 It’s negligent in that it’s been 2 weeks since Caldwell left & no recruitment process has started as everyone was waiting for DG. That process should have started as soon as we knew GC was going even if Green was the preferred option, at least then we’d have tested the waters!

Do fellow #ecfc fans believe that Taylor is the right man long term? Is he going to be able to rebuild this team over the summer? Based on his recent track record I’m not sold on the idea. Feels like it’s a knee jerk reaction to DG not signing the contract.

@alfieash01 Don’t disagree. I think Taylor has to hit the ground running or it gets nasty again. We’re only a few points above the bottom 4 & the run of games after tonight looks grim!
