I just went to a self-serve frozen yogurt shop. I picked the cup, pulled the lever, and added my own toppings. At checkout, the iPad was flipped toward me with options for 20%, 25%, and 30% tips. The employee who was literally leaning against the wall on her phone sighed and rolled her eyes when I hit "No Tip."
When did we start tipping people for the privilege of doing their job for them? Am I the villain here?
It’s not weird to y’all that not a single billionaire wants to end world poverty? Not even one rich person?
It’s just “what they do with their money is up to them”?
Yeah, sure- but it’s not WEIRD to you that not ONE single person wants to be a big hero and solve the world’s problems when they LITERALLY could?
That’s not bizarre or suspicious?
White House Drug Czar Sara Carter Bailey clarified that marijuana is "still illegal" following the Trump administration's cannabis rescheduling move.
"Executive-level Schedule III allows for doctors and research and for medicine, for medicinal purposes."

@BulwarkOnline@OfTheBraveUSA The biggest problem is that a holes like Hassett are the worm tongues in Trump’s ear, telling him everything is just fine. Perpetuating the collapse.
Kevin Hassett: "The consumer is really, really firing on all cylinders…Credit card spending is through the roof. They're spending more on gasoline, but they're spending more on everything else too."
Met Gala: $100K tickets, Bezos as chair. Meanwhile, 70% of Americans can't afford food/housing.
Amazon workers pee in bottles, get fired for organizing, tackled by police for protesting.
This is Trump's America.
Shame on the billionaire class.
Four reasons why @GovernorShapiro is wrong about pushing for recreational use of marijuana:
“Marijuana products are today of unprecedented high potency, are often highly processed, aggressively advertised, and often packaged to appeal to minors.”
White House Raises Alarm About 'High-Potency' Marijuana And Its Marketing In New National Drug Strategy: "While all drugs carry some level of risk, marijuana has the highest conversion rate from psychosis to schizophrenia and bipolar disorder."

@bushido_hk@jimmysoldout Mortgage interest goes straight to banks that are essentially taking most if not all capital appreciation. Not to mention prop insurance, taxes, maintenance, repairs, etc. Crap asset.
@jimmysoldout The mortgage payment is building equity though - you're basically paying yourself instead of making your landlord richer. After 30 years you own something worth hundreds of thousands instead of having nothing to show for it.
no shade but why would i literally ever buy a home… you still have to pay a mortgage monthly that would be the same cost as just paying rent atp. and at least with renting, the expenses for anything that goes wrong falls into the landlord instead of on you
