@bostonherald This headline is a lie. Worc city council rejected a petition that requested naturalized citizens prove their citizenship beyond being a registered voter. You have to be a citizen in order to register to vote. Bad journalism. Fix it and report the facts.

@maura_healey @AJCampbellMA @KimDriscollMA MCAS prevents thousands of students with disabilities, students with IEPS, from obtaining a high school diploma. Creating barriers to higher ed or entry level employment. MCAS as a grad requirement hurts students with disabilities.

I’m voting No on 2 because no matter the community, every child deserves the highest quality education. If Question 2 passes, we'll become one of two states that don’t have a statewide standard for graduation. The only standard remaining would be four years of gym.

Went down to city hall for this, expecting 5-7 grotesques to interview and there weren’t any at all, just an idling empty school bus (?) and four cops lol

@SkwiboPoli Enforcement BEFORE education. I think a lot of drivers knowingly make dangerous decisions, like speeding and running lights. Hitting people with fines is a good teaching tool.

Good stuff right here! Our neighborhood streets NEED permanent speed humps and speed tables , especially around public schools like Lake View. I’ve petitioned for a few in District 2.

It was an exciting time, and at that point it wasn’t about bringing the Red Sox to Worcester. It was all about fostering local growth & development in the district, which is what happened over the next decade. All home grown!!

In 2008 my Urban Studies professor, Francis “Tuck” Amory encouraged us to attend the Canal District meetings at the Ship Room , with Largess and Fletcher.
