Today, I’m announcing my candidacy for Florida’s 20th congressional district. I’ll continue to use my seniority in Washington to make Broward a safer, less expensive place to live, raise a family, and retire. We cannot let Trump and DeSantis take away Broward County’s power.
Is this New at @USCIS policy memo legal? Possibly, going forward. Will this policy outlast this administration? No. Is it a stiff arm in the face from @USCISDirector Joe, who is possibly the laziest USCIS Director in history? Yes. Will this memo be challenged in court? Yes. Should you file for adjustment the status today? Talk to your lawyer. Will this memo apply to applications already filed? It should not be because this is a policy change that will certainly be challenged under the APA and should in no circumstance be retroactive. Running Del. Adele McClure’s campaign was one of the great privileges of my life. The journey was shorter than we hoped, but the trust she placed in me is something I’ll never forget. Virginia is lucky to have Adele as a Delegate, and I’m proud to call her my friend.

🚨BREAKING: In a 4-3 ruling, the Virginia Supreme Court has OVERTURNED the redistricting referendum approved by voters last month that could have netted Democrats 5 additional House seats. The court ruled the General Assembly violated the Virginia Constitution in advancing the amendment, nullifying the referendum entirely.
