I just finished observing Shabbat and appalled to read about the antisemitic mockery of U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen — his Jewish faith, his Shabbat observance — by DHS official Greg Bovino is disgraceful. The fact that Bovino felt comfortable expressing these views on a call with multiple prosecutors speaks volumes. .@tonydokoupil It's not that you tanked on your first broadcast. Mistakes happen. It's that you chose the day before your debut to say you would be better than Walter Cronkite. It's stupid, frat boy cocky and consistent with a series of embarrassing fuck ups from @bariweiss.

This is crazy. Cronkite regularly engaged his critics - look up the history. When Spiro Agnew attacked him, Cronkite went to St. Joseph, Missouri, his hometown, and held a town hall where his critics questioned him and CBS News, and it was broadcast on "60 Minutes."
