We went looking for palm oil-free hot cross buns… in @sainsburys...
Think it’s palm oil free? Think again.
Supermarkets don’t always call it “palm oil.”
Sometimes it’s hidden as palm fat.
Like, comment, share if care about supporting dairy farmers 👍

@benonwine I used to when he was using his own material but, like all good comedians, they dry up, employ script writers and it's downhill from thereon.
English

@benonwine I pick two charities per year; a medical related charity and a 'bonafide' charity for armed forces veterans. £10 per month each. I change every December.
I emphasise 'bonafide' as there are lots of charities for 'veterans' I've never heard of and several 'outed' by the WMHC!

@NickBuckleyMBE The biggest beneficiary in the 'eco agenda' is China!! Their manufacturers and shippers are laughing all the way to the bank.
The UK is being stripped of its manufacturing industry while Reeves talks of increasing employment, GDP and tax revenue.

@BROKENBRITAIN0 @BritishBastardX Wasn't that said about Blair and got nowhere? 🤔
English

@BritishBastardX He is the epitome of evil
Keir Starmer WILL be tried for his crimes against the people
English

🚨 Keir Starmer spent 20+ years as a human rights barrister before becoming PM.
He represented people and causes many Brits would call anti-British
from IRA terrorists to Islamist extremists to activists who sabotaged RAF bases.
Here's the list most people have never heard ⬇️
Fairford Five (2003-2006)
Anti-Iraq War protesters broke into RAF Fairford, a key UK/US airbase. They damaged fuel tankers, bomb trailers and B-52 bomber equipment to "stop war crimes."
Starmer was on the legal team.
He argued in the Court of Appeal and House of Lords that their criminal damage was justified because the Iraq War was illegal. Some walked free.
Danny McNamee – Convicted IRA terrorist (2001)
McNamee was jailed for his role in the 1982 Hyde Park bombing - an IRA attack that killed 4 British soldiers and 7 horses.
He later escaped from a maximum-security prison in an armed breakout.
Starmer represented him (and an armed robber co-claimant) in a High Court damages claim against prison officers for alleged mistreatment.
They won taxpayer-funded compensation. Legal aid cost the public £500,000.
Abu Qatada – Radical Islamist hate preacher (2008)
Dubbed "Osama bin Laden’s ambassador in Europe." Accused of al-Qaeda links and inspiring terror plots.
Starmer fought deportation to Jordan on terror charges for years.
Starmer personally represented him in a 2008 Special Immigration Appeals Commission hearing as he battled to stay in Britain.
Hizb ut-Tahrir – Islamist group (2008)
The group calls for a global caliphate, is banned in many countries for antisemitism and extremism, and has praised terrorism.
Starmer led the legal team giving them advice and took their case to the European Court of Human Rights to overturn Germany’s ban on the group.
Pro bono push for Iraq war investigations (2007)
Starmer worked for free in the House of Lords, intervening with Liberty and Amnesty to demand more probes into alleged UK military abuses against Iraqi civilians.
His help triggered years of "witch-hunt" investigations into British troops.
Context: Barristers have a "cab-rank" rule to take cases, but Starmer chose human-rights work and did some pro bono.
These cases show who he was willing to defend when it came to challenging British policy, military action, or deportation of extremists.
Britain’s way of life, rule of law, sovereignty, military service, counter-terrorism was something Starmer spent years fighting against in court for these clients.
Now you know what he really stands for.
He should never have been given the chance to gain power over our once great nation, he should be forced to RESIGN.

@BBCSport It's the law of economics; 'as long as customers are prepared to pay the price, the sellers will continue to increase the price' and nothing has greater 'economic elasticity' than football tickets and merchandise.
As the saying goes; fools & their money are easily parted!
English

@BBCSport The only time I bought a genuine England shirt was in Algeria after England failed to qualify for Euro 2008; $10/£8!
For the competition, I was working in the Netherlands and in a hotel for 3 weeks. We went out and bought Netherlands shirts which eased the p1ss taking!! 😂😂

Diesel is nudging towards 173p a litre. Filling up a family car now costs the best part of ninety pounds. UK energy costs are four times higher than in the United States.
Factories are shutting. Investment is leaving. Jobs are disappearing. And the Ministers responsible for our energy security want to ban new diesel vehicles by 2035. No credible plan. Just a deadline and an ideology.
In terms of logistics, the RHA surveyed over 500 firms last year. Seven in ten HGV operators have no plans to add zero emission vehicles to their fleets. The costs are enormous and the EV charging infrastructure does not exist. These are not fringe voices. These are the people who move Britain’s food, medicine and materials every day. Ask manufacturers, farmers, construction firms too. Battery electric technology, at the scale this government is mandating, is simply not ready. No subsidy changes that. What subsidies do is funnel taxpayer money into a market that cannot function and pretend that counts as governing.
Reeves, Red Ed and Labour shut down our own energy, they’ve blocked North Sea drilling, and forced reliance on expensive foreign imports. They then act surprised when bills explode. This is not climate policy, it’s national economic self-harm.
Other nations back their own energy, keep costs competitive and get on with it. Britain punishes its own industries and imports from the very countries it lectures on carbon, and leaves its own rich reserves untouched.
That is not leadership. It is ideology. In times like these, every UK family is paying the price.

@SchoolboyOwn @JulianDutton1 A phrase I used a few times to various bosses throughout my time as an Army Warrant Officer 😂

@CharlotteCGill Their skit on Starmer was painful. I thought it was supposed to be comedy & I watched the whole thing & there weren’t any funny jokes.

@LeftwaffenWatch This is a skill issue. Get a longer lead, use some 2x4 as support, make it collapsible, get plastic construction insulating hooks, sling it over the footpath at 2-2.5 meters. Job done.

@darrengrimes No chance. Thank God for front door cameras.

@phughes76340646 Annoyed. I used to have several of various colours to wear in the cold in UK & Scandinavia and extreme heat in the ME & Africa. I don't wear them now as I do not wish to be considered to be active in ME politics.

@benonwine In jest; Larry the Cat. Seriously; Sir Alan Sugar.
