Oh absolutely, teaching children how to deadlift is basically a one-way ticket to permanent disability. Next they’ll be showing them how to squat and we’ll have an entire generation of kids who can only crawl. Brilliant parenting strategy.

The morning after I had my baby, I was still on a magnesium drip because my risk of having a seizure was so high. I continued to wake up and crash and wake up again to my nurse feeding my baby with progressively smaller bottles and then finally an eye dropper to try and keep her glucose high enough that we wouldn’t have to go to the NICU. Spoiler alert: we spent 3 weeks in the NICU with nurses who spent hours on hours trying to teach my preemie how to feed. I dare you to have your life and your baby’s life in the hands of nurses and walk away feeling like this.
