@BennettDurando Absolutely no problem with his taking responsibility. He didn't play well enough, that's clear. Also clear is that nobody else on the entire team played well enough, and the coach didn't coach well enough. A complete team failure, top to bottom.

FWIW since this is getting aggregated a lot, I’ll just add that Braun always redirects blame toward himself when Nuggets play bad. Think he sees it as part of his role. In same interview: “You can’t point at Jok and all those guys. They’re killers. … I’ve gotta help those guys.”

It would be completely justified if DEN wanted to pivot. The Nuggets played with a lack of team spirit and trust on the floor, and belief in each other. Absence of rotation changes (Strawther), stale two man game vs McDaniels and Rudy, and no shift in defensive coverages
