@F1_Jordan Since 2022, the Safety Car does not have to wait until the following lap to come in. Once the last instructed lapped car has passed the leader and the Safety Car, and it is considered safe, the Safety Car can return to the pits at the end of that same lap.

The Safety Car didn’t pit because the rules require it to come in at the end of the lap following the last lapped car.
