Not food-related post. This is likely one of the most sickening things I’ve seen the CBC do. Read the story below. ⬇️ One of the RCMP officers pranked by the CBC is a personal friend. I can’t believe a Crown corporation, funded by the Canadian public, would do something like this to people who served our country for decades, only to humiliate them.
Lindsay Shepherd@NewWorldHominin

The CBC "prank show" deception scandal is getting so much worse. The producers (operating under fake identities/fake company names with fake websites) told a number of RCMP veterans - people who dedicated their lives to serving on the frontlines - that they were invited to film for a show called "Life After Service." A ceremony to thank them for their service would follow, and they were told dignitaries would be present. This would take place at the CBC Vancouver studio. They were told to come in uniform. When the RCMP vets arrived at the CBC Vancouver studio on March 25th and 26th, the "pranksters" took their phones away, which they claimed was CBC Vancouver studio policy. The former RCMP officers were also placed in front of an audience of what they were told were about two dozen "journalists." And it was sprung on them that this was a "live broadcast", with "media availability" afterwards! Then the producers switched up the whole session to be not about life after service, but the historical wrongs committed by the RCMP against indigenous peoples - to berate these vets for being part of the RCMP. There is so much more but I am hoping the individuals targeted in this elaborate scheme will be able to share their stories themselves. Seriously, what even sounds remotely funny or silly about this concept? It is just sick and cruel @CBCNews and @APTNNews... what are you thinking?

I can’t believe the CBC did something like this. Using taxpayer money to mislead, deceive and outright lie to ordinary Canadians, including retired RCMP veterans, to trick them into taking part in some sort of twisted political propaganda film. Fake documentaries that slander Canadian history, defame Canadian institutions like the RCMP and smear the reputation of our first Prime Minister, Sir John A. Macdonald. Spending who knows how much of your money to set up an elaborate ruse (including fake websites, fake companies and fake identities) while engaging American actors and producers to insult Canada’s past. Will the Liberal Minister responsible for the CBC own up to this decision and defend it? Or will someone at the CBC finally be held accountable?

The DOJ has ONE WEEK left to charge Anthony Fauci for the worst cover-up in modern medical history. He lied to Congress about funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan. Millions died. Trillions were spent. And Fauci walked away with book deals and fawning media coverage instead of handcuffs. I re-upped my criminal referral to the DOJ because the evidence is overwhelming, and justice has been delayed long enough. RT if you’re ready to see Fauci behind bars.

BREAKING NEWS ! @Nenshi held a news conference to lie to Albertans about the StayfreeAlberta Independence Petition. Unlike the phoney Lukaszuk petition that had access to NDP and Union lists and signed up Disney Characters and Tourists, every Stay Free Alberta was made with valid photo ID held by actual eligible Alberta voters. All of the signatures were delivered in sequentially ordered file folders with each canvasser badge number assigned its own folder for identification of serial numbered canvassing sheets by canvasser. Any misbehaviour by any individual canvasser can be immediately identified on verification. For that reason it is beyond belief that any impropriety occurred due to the stringency of the process. Nenshi’s allegation of fraud on the part of 7000 hard working Alberta Independence Canvassers and the 301,620 Albertans who signed the petition is defamatory. Nenshi’s suggestion that Danielle Smith should ignore this petition is ludicrous and completely in keeping with his generally anti-democratic tendencies and beliefs. Danielle Smith will ignore 301,620 potentially former UCP voters at her political peril.

At the height of the UCP Leadership Race in 2022 there were less than 160,000 members. I have heard there are less than 50,000 right now. If 20% of people who signed the petition joined the party. They would have a majority of the UCP membership.

The Prime Minister’s video is another illusion. He says he wants a permanent rupture with our biggest customer while he keeps 90% of his personal investments in the U.S. He has doubled the deficit, negotiated no new free trade deals with any other country, approved no pipelines, and given Canada the worst food inflation, the worst household debt, the worst housing costs, and the only shrinking economy in the G7. Fear is not a plan. We must reverse Liberal taxes, deficits, and anti-resource laws so we can be affordable, safe, and strong at home.

A damning Auditor General’s report shows these three Liberal ministers allowed 150,000 cases of suspected immigration fraud to go uninvestigated. Then Carney promoted them. And they remain in his Liberal cabinet. Mr. Prime Minister, do your job. Fire them. Now.

So here’s what’s going to happen. Many of you will get angry about this and scream via keyboard but that won’t change what is going to happen. Carney now has his majority and can pass whatever bills he wants. He can rule for the next 3 years, or call an election early whenever his polling is strong. He’s going to win a majority in the next election as well, because Conservative messaging is entirely uninspiring and they refuse to tell bold truths, eternally in fear of the media. Pierre will be ousted after his next loss, if not before, and the Conservative Party will have a choice to make: Choose an actual conservative as leader and begin the long process of turning things around, or choose another ‘progressive’ conservative, and continue losing. They’ll choose the squishy progressive conservative option, and Carney will be PM for 10 years, if he wants to be.
Billboard Chris 🌎@BillboardChris

BREAKING 🇨🇦: Another MP has crossed the floor and joined Prime Minister Mark Carney’s Liberal Party. This time it was not a Conservative. It was Lori Idlout, a member of the far left NDP. With 3 by-elections coming soon — two of which will definitely go Liberal — Marc Carney has just won himself a majority government.

Here’s how frighteningly easy it is for people to get mAID in Canada. A mother found out her son who became blind due to diabetes had been asking for mAID so she decided to call and see how easy it was by posing as someone suffering from the same condition. Without any questions the Doctor said “ok no problem” The next story involves a man who can’t afford to live requesting the service.

The reason Boomers remain enamoured with this government is straightforward: they are insulated from the worst and perhaps the most regressive policy decision in Canadian history. Open borders devalued wage labour, crushed youth employment, lifted rents, and put home ownership out of reach.

Jason Kenney’s betrayal of Albertan conservatives is the biggest political backstabbing in Canadian history. He criss-crossed Alberta in that blue Ram pickup, working every small-town coffee shop and rink, promising heartland voters he’d go to war with Ottawa and never back down. They gave him a landslide. Then he folded completely; caved to Trudeau, imposed some of the harshest COVID restrictions in the country, and turned on the very freedoms and Albertan nation he swore to defend. Never forget.
