One Nation is likely to win maybe 3 lower house seats in the Victorian state election on 28 November 2026. Usually it's 0. Also has a strong chance of winning or holding multiple seats in the Legislative Council (upper house). Maybe 5? Where it matters. I'm calling a hung Victorian parliament.

@kevinbonham Had both liberals and nationals preferenced ON it is unlikely that their voters would follow the how to vote card and that the primary vote for ON would likely have been higher (closer to 43-45) at the expense of the nationals leading to an even smaller number of prefs to win.

@kevinbonham Spot on analysis, some commentators on the ground from the national party remarked that Canavan was able to pull so many voters to the nationals over the Libs and ON because he was a conservative option preferencing ON.

A few people need to learn how to interpret these things correctly. When the Liberal is excluded it is not strictly correct to describe the preference flow at that point as "Liberal preferences" as if that exclusion was all about Liberal voters.
