In answer to my own question... having set out to opt-out from the data-scrape of NHS records earlier today, I am even more appalled after seeing what @NHSDigital is up to, and what appears suspiciously like them making deliberate attempts to mislead the public. n/1

Very reluctantly I’m one of those who has opted out. I simply don’t trust the current Westminster government, neither for effectiveness nor integrity. And civil servants seem to only be able to do so much to stop Matt Hancock seemingly doing what he pleases (ref - PPE scandal)
