@RepDavid Someone better twist CMS’s arm real hard. They always object to stopping payments. Look at decades of OIG recommendations that are unimplemented. We’ve known the problem for decades, CMS just refuses to fix it!

Fraudsters exploit Medicaid because the system pays first and chases later. That is absolutely insane. Stop the money before it ever goes out the door.

@Elex_Michaelson @katieporterca The fraud rate in government insurance is astronomical in terms of dollars. Government is not efficient at protecting taxpayers money and is the least efficient at administering funds. This is crazy!!!

.@katieporterca says as CA Governor, she'd support single payer healthcare. She thinks it ultimately will make healthcare cheaper. "Medicare spends only 2% of its healthcare money on administrative costs. Private health insurance spends 17 or 18%." More: youtube.com/watch?v=ziDNt3…

@katieporterca What’s the fraud loss in private insurance compared to government insurance? Government programs get ripped offfor billions. More funds more fraud. Government isn’t efficient at anything!!

Medicare spends only 2% of its funds on administrative costs. Private health insurance spends 17% or 18%. Single-payer healthcare lets us put more money toward actually making people healthy instead of pushing paper and denying claims.

@thematrixb0t She really counts on her constituents being stupid and lacking critical thinking skills. Everyone knows only the first 184,000 is taxed and that benefits are capped.

Murray: Is it true that people making under $184,000 pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate? Dahl: Yes Murray: And the rate for someone making $1,000,000? Dahl: 2.2% Murray: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184,000, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.

@FactsFeelings47 @Real_EdDiehl Doesn’t come across as being on the citizens side, looks like sour grapes. The party needs to come together and what you’re doing is divisive.

@RobinBonn @Real_EdDiehl I'm not on the sidelines, and I only care about the citizens. So when politicians do stunts, its fair to point them out. Oregon doesn't have time for political games, from politically motivated Representatives, we're losing the state to Socialism. No games.

@benedtl @Mollymcdagger You sit on the sidelines and criticize people who actually accomplished something. You could have filed your own petition, but you didn’t. All you do is complain.

This is from 2025 - we urged Diehl to repeal the entire transportation package and go with the House Caucus plan that would require no new taxes (led by Christine Drazan). Now we have a temporary stay on a tax that will come right back and a destroyed effort to permanently secure our elections. The truth ages well. It always does. That's why I stick with it even when it isn't popular.

@MargoLogan @PCsnot @KNorman50122 I tried to get Ed Diehl to repeal the whole thing. x.com/i/status/19875…

@KATUNews So can I just stop filing Oregon taxes because I disagree with their policies? Seems equivalent.

Oregon transportation officials are reviewing a decision to temporarily stop issuing new undercover license plates to federal law enforcement agencies, a move that has prompted legal threats from the Trump administration. bit.ly/4fy1Aqg

@Michaela_1776 @Mollymcdagger @MargoLogan @PCsnot @KNorman50122 As the organizer of the petition that’s his prerogative. Sorry if your petition still needs signatures but if you’re the chief petitioner that’s your job to organize, not ride someone else’s coat tales. You just sound like sour grapes because he’s not extreme enough for you

You could have done your own initiative petition, but you didn’t. Your just trying to get money from posting on X

@tarenfeist Experts? Who are these supposed experts? Why wasn’t she consulting them before a crisis?

Let me remind you what we are really fighting against this November… Tina Kotek just told reporters she’ll be relying on “experts” to figure out how Oregon should pay for ODOT moving forward after voters absolutely REJECTED Measure 120. Reporter: “So tax increases are still on the table?” Tina Kotek: “I will be looking to those experts to really clarify what it is that we need to have as a state and give us options on how to pay for it…” Translation? Nothing is off the table. And to make it even more insulting, Kotek blamed Trump’s war in Iran and rising gas prices for why the transportation tax package failed so miserably with voters. No, Governor. Oregonians voted NO because they’re tired of being squeezed for more money while watching government waste, delays, mismanagement, and out-of-control spending continue year after year. Measure 120 failed because people cannot afford more taxes — and because voters no longer trust Salem to manage the money they already take from us.

Here in Oregon, we’ve proven that we can stop President Trump. But this November, we have a choice to make. We can protect the state that we love from his chaos, or hand him the keys.

@RonWyden How much is their “fair” share? Can you define that for me? Eliminate the income tax and implement a national sales tax and we will all pay our “fair” share.,
