Latest shopify cli version now emits esbuild metafiles when building UI extensions. You can just drag 'n drop these from the extension's dist/ folder straight into esbuild.github.io/analyze/ to learn which dependencies impact bundle size most. github.com/Shopify/cli/re…

@kentcdodds I think the answer varies depending on whether it’s a conference or a meetup. Meetups are usually free to attend and often in close proximity. Conferences usually cost money and often require travel.

What should I call this event?

I've been writing code for 30 years, today I code circles around my 21 year old self. AI does the boring things, my brain has cycles for the hard stuff. AI won't take your dev job, devs who use AI like pros will.

Increase your luck surface area and go to meetups and conferences. Also, it’s fun.

And I want to explicitly include all the other amazing unconfs like @phpunconference and @RubyUnconfEU that came before and after as well.

Just realized that the first @jsunconf took place more than a decade ago. 👴 The unconf series will forever have a special place in my heart. They are scrappy, non profit, done by the community for the community and just a great place to hang out with amazing folks.
