@MasterMaliq The Quran is as clear as mud. You rely on outside sources like Hadith to understand it. It doesn’t even tell you how many times to pray. Constantly told that you need to be an Arabic speaker to understand it.

I keep hearing this from Christians: “You need the Holy Spirit to understand the Bible.” So without it… the book is locked? I used to joke as a Muslim: “God doesn’t have a wife—how can He have a son?” It sounded blasphemous. But no one explained this: In Semitic culture, “son of” doesn’t mean biological. It means identity. Same nature. Son of Man = fully human. Son of God = fully divine. That’s why in John 5:18 they tried to kill Jesus, not for healing, but because calling God His Father meant He was making Himself equal with God. What used to offend me was this: I am messy. Totally human. The idea of a perfect God stepping into my mess felt wrong. Almost humiliating. But I had it backwards. He wasn’t lowering Himself out of weakness. He was stepping down out of love. Because I wasn’t climbing my way to heaven. So, God came down - not as a rulebook, not as religion - but as a Son. As a Savior. God didn’t get married. He revealed His nature. And when I finally saw it, it didn’t make Him smaller or weaker. It made Him infinitely more powerful and beautiful.

Driving to church in New York City was a terrifying nightmare. 🚨🚦🚦🚦 Today, I had a frustrating experience driving to Times Square Church in New York City. What usually takes about 30-35 minutes took me nearly two hours because of a running challenge in the city. As someone with a medical background, I appreciate people exercising and biking, but why do these events always happen on Sundays around church time? Most churches here in New York hold their Sunday service at 10 AM EST. Whenever there’s a running, marathon, or bicycling event, the NYPD blocks a long stretch of avenues and streets, usually on 5th or 6th Avenue, some of the busiest avenues in the city. This causes significant inconvenience to thousands of people. I drove for a long time until a kind NYPD officer helped me find my way. I had to drive back, go back up, and drive through Central Park to get to the church. It was a truly horrible experience. To add insult to injury, New York City also charges congestion charges for driving in certain areas. I am simply amazed at the state of Christianity in New York. A significant number of people don’t seem to care about Jesus and His gospel. If they did, they would be going to church on Sundays instead. This isn’t the only day this has happened. This year alone, there have been multiple events or activities blocking the streets. Can these events be moved to the evening? Can they not happen on another day? Exercise is beneficial for this life, but it offers no solace in the afterlife. To attain heaven, one must acknowledge their sinful nature and recognize that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again to atone for their sins. Without faith in Jesus and His completed work, one is destined for eternal damnation. The most overlooked yet profoundly significant event in human history is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Ignoring this event leads to eternal damnation, while accepting it through faith leads to salvation. No religion on earth can save you; only Christ and His finished work of Jesus Christ can. “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?” what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
