So many roads in Britain are flooding on a frequent basis. But before they blame it on cow farts causing climate change, it might helpful if local councils could be arsed to regularly unblock and clean the road drains. That’s what we pay our council tax for, apparently.

But so many of his promises have been broken in less than a year in government. A masterclass in snake oil salesmanship that have led to the Labour government implementing a set of policies that were nowhere near their election manifesto. No one voted for this. It was never on offer.
