had a job interview today (not necessarily looking to quit my current job, just looking). i'd say it went well. i wonder if quitting a job where i work in game engine tooling for a job in safety critical embedded would affect my gamedev job prospects in the future...

@VinciRSS yes. i've seen variables in german, assets in german, comments in german, etc. this sounds like a parody but we've had issues with asset names being too long because german words all have like 30 letters for some reason.

my job is making me use unreal AND unity. anything but godot. i hate german companies.

Just got out of my final exam, which means I am officially done with university. Finally I can have peace and never set foot in this place ever again Should be getting my diploma sometime in September

@Dispatch_Graph We do it in Portugal too. I've heard it's because of the fear that, after you finish you exam, you will somehow contact students who have not yet finished and give them answers. It's weird :P

Going through my final batch of final exams and I swear, they need to delete the rule that forbids you to leave until a certain time even if you finished I’m not gonna wait 45 minutes doing nothing, just let me gtfo I have other things to do Dunno if other countries do it

Seems like best options for writing native cross-platform graphics code are SDL3 and Vulkan. I think I'll delay my vulkan arc for a bit longer.
