I've been listening to Chibidoki's advice of posting 2 shorts a day for the past 2 weeks: Each shorts brings between 5 and 20 new subscribers Which means that in the last 2 weeks I have gotten between 150 and 600 subscribers from UNEDITED shorts alone. If you have the means or time to edit your shorts it could be better but even without editing, just spamming your stream clips will help your growth a lot. However, avoid posting 5 clips a day then none for the next few days, what youtube wants is daily content not spam in one day and nothing the other, planifying your shorts will save your algorythm and reach. I didn't think much of it when I started, but the growth is there. Now it could be full luck, but I feel like combining daily shorts + daily streams have also boosted my streams into youtube algorythm almost doubling my average youtube ccv. This post is not meant to brag but to inform other VTubers out there that you do not need to spend 500$/month on edited shorts when you are starting out. If you can edit full time or have people edit for you later on, it will upgrade your quality and reach most likely. Good luck in your VTubing journey!!!

R1kka's letter is heartbreaking 🥲 but he also said that he has an ongoing voiceacting project as R1kka so he is asked to continue doing that (hence the announcement emphasizing end of streaming activities). He said he had tried a lot of activities and put a lot of effort especially into music projects but due to the changes in the company, he thought continuing like this wouldn't let him pursue what he wants (particularly music). He said he is mentally exhausted from (trying to bridge) the gap between his ideals and the current direction of their activities. He said he has no intention to criticize anything and thanks all his fans for supporting him all these years. He said he still has so many things he wants to do and regrets that they have been cut short. But he said he will never give up on music and that he knows his music (sound) will continue to live on in this 'world'.
