For the hundredth time: Not all Jews are Israelis, and not all Israelis are Jews. Furthermore, the Israeli government is not the head of Judaism, just like the U.S. government is not a representative of the church. You can oppose a government without being “antisemitic”

@JudithSBe @__mattymo__ @BuenoForMiami I don't consider the west bank, contemporary israel. And yes i know about the settlers, and yes the settlers are fair game of criticism But many of the people advocating for the Palestinian state, want all of the levant, including israel, which is their true motive.

@Robnum1R @__mattymo__ @BuenoForMiami Israel has any right to exist. As a state. Also as a state where mainly Jews live. As a "jewish state" - what is that? What does it mean for not jewish people? What for example for Palestinians living in the west banks? Do they have the good right to stay there in peace?

@suburbanwinebro @NickyFrank30 Its a good test to those people critical of israel to see if they are truly antisemitic, by asking these people “does israel have a right to exist as a jewish state”. They say no, i would say that says everything about that person. Parroting the same crap Hamas and the KKK say

@NickyFrank30 Acting like those fringes actually have sway over the party’s staunchly zionist platform is insane to believe in the first place. Hell, even Mamdani is outwardly supportive of an Israeli state with equal rights. As an oasis of democracy, that should be the bare minimum.

What someone in Pennsylvania said to me about this: "If my choice is a left wing anti-semite or a right wing anti-semite, I'm choosing the one that ensures I can flee to Israel when they come for me."

(Jewish) family friend here in PA, who's been a Dem for 50 years (and a frequent Dem donor) just posted that he is leaving the party and becoming an Independent. Sad to see but honestly I don't know if I can blame him at this point.

@suburbanwinebro @NickyFrank30 You can criticize israel. But you should also say “first, israel has a right to exist as a jewish state” before you do so. Most people critical of israel cannot because they have alternative motives than just criticizing Netanyahu

@NickyFrank30 I’m sorry but this is incredibly dramatic. The idea that the party cannot criticize Israel over its abhorrent conduct in Gaza is insane. Unlike the groyper-right, there has not been a single mainstream liberal or leftist who has ever endorsed anti-semitic rhetoric.

Those who weaponize the 'antisemitism' accusation know this to be true, yet they continue to use it in an effort to shut down the conversation and to refute legitimate criticism of Israel. It's a classic leftist tactic, which is ironic given that they call Zionist dissidents the 'woke right'.

@AllyJKiss The arrogance of these delusional ppl is mind-boggling. Their doomer predictions never come to pass, they lose elections left & right, & they're continually wrong about everything. So all they have left as a feel-good cope is to just casually assert they've won the argument. 😆🤦‍♂️

“This is a pro-Palestinian country” 🥴 Dave Smith says he’s already won the debate against Zionists and everyone knows he’s won—he just goes on Piers Morgan to debate as a formality. (He gets his ass handed to him regularly by Will Chamberlain on that show lol)

@AllyJKiss He's exactly right, now more Americans support the Palestinian cause than Israel's. And even more, it's the younger Americans, so this support will only continue to grow especially if Israel stays on their current path.

@CoreyWriting It's the Zionist democrats deliberately withheld the information because they knew it wasn't good for them and will make running another Zio Dem candidate impossible. Like we saw in NYC, the dems will team up with Trump vs the left because they serve the same masters.

@KidsCantWaitUSA @politico Of course they lost parents. Remember when “Biden” (pretty sure it wasnt him who ordered this) sent the FBI to school council meetings because parents were upset about curriculum changes? That was no bueno in the eyes of almost all parents

@politico A huge omission was also that parents swung by 14 percentage points. Democrats won non-parents but lost parents. And yet, the word child does not appear. In the absence of a real children and families agenda, $200+ million in culture wars ads had an impact.
KIDS CAN'T WAIT@KidsCantWaitUSA

@brianschatz @NEAExecDir Democrats should make children a greater priority.

@Cincinnatus56 Yeah we lost with young men. I don't remember that many dudes are into Joe rogan and andrew shultz cared about gaza. This just reinforces their beliefs that their is a grand conspiracy, when in reality it was everything but, Dems would still have lost if gaza was number 1
