I know Prison City has a bit of a niche audience, because it's straight up an NES+ style action platformer with a lot of movie references and stuff, but I'm really proud of how it turned out and I'm glad that most people that picked it up enjoyed it and saw what I was going for~

@Jed05 It’s a decent trope to explore maybe one other parallel universe max if that’s the central premise of your story, ala Fringe. It’s so tired though. It’s a dead horse being mercilessly pummeled.

@DerynGwood I don't think the changes will effect A Robot Named Fight! It has likely hit the install threshold, but it's never made 200k in 12 months.

@RobotNamedFight the unity situation has definitely made me worry about smaller games getting delisted; especially this one since it's made by a smaller developer

Imagine if Adobe charged you a flat rate every time someone watched a video edited with Premiere (if you’d met some arbitrary revenue threshold they could change at anytime). It’s insane.

Marvel is owned by Disney. Marvel Snap was made in Unity. Nintendo owns Pokemon. Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl were made in Unity. I don't know about you but watching Mario and the Mouse team up to dogpile Unity sounds like my kind of back alley fight.

And sure, installs / views aren’t directly analogous, but neither are installs / units sold. With sales, physical, review keys, updates, game pass, demos, piracy there’s no formula to translate “installs” to revenue. It’s just an arbitrary charge based on a # unity tells you.
