Secret to getting more engagement…drop an “oh you’re cooking” to one student. They all go nuts and anyone not paying attention is like, wait what’d I miss?!

@DeeSTEM_Teach My school did that’s years ago but with all the opening and closing of the drawers for teachers to stock paper and take it back out, we needed more techs out to fix things. Now it’s just always there. As it should be.

It’s a huge bummer that companies like @Scholastic aren’t letting their books be browsed on archive.org. As a teacher, I use this site to put 📚 in my slideshows so all Ss have eyes on text. Schools don’t have the funding or the space for all Ss to have 📚 in hand.

All I’ve ever really wanted is a modest little home, nothing fancy. A usable kitchen, a yard for the dog, a sprawling bookcase-accessible secret Victorian library with a minimum of three rolling ladders and a kindly ghost librarian. I don’t ask for much.
