China has switched on its first fully automated humanoid robot line in Foshan, capable of producing 10,000 units a year, with one robot rolling off the line every 30 minutes. With Unitree targeting 20,000 humanoids in 2026 and UBTech aiming for 10,000, China is racing to lock in supply dominance by 2027.

China is scaling humanoid robot training. @Xhumanoid_BJ has launched an embodied AI training base in Beijing with large-scale robot deployment. The robots are learning complex manipulation and coordination tasks in shared environments.

The first major IPO filing in humanoid robotics is here. China-based @UnitreeRobotics is seeking $608M via a STAR Market listing (Shanghai). The filing shows a shift toward humanoid robots as a primary revenue driver.

Unitree files for a ~$610M IPO after delivering 5,500+ humanoid robots, ~1.7B RMB in revenue, and gross margins above 60%, making it the only company in the category operating at scale with profitability. Sci-Fi Meets the Battlefield🪖🤖 The Phantom MK-1 humanoid robot, built by US Foundation Robotics, is now deployed on the Ukrainian front lines. Two units are reportedly in active service. The robot can operate weapons such as pistols, shotguns, and M16 rifle, and is currently used for reconnaissance. Future missions may include door breaching and border patrol, tasks normally performed by soldiers. Co-founder Mike LeBlanc, a former United States Marine Corps veteran, says there is a “moral imperative to send robots instead of humans into combat.” The company has already secured$24M in contracts from the United States Army, United States Navy, and United States Air Force, reaching SBIR Phase 3 and becoming an official military supplier.
