The best traders (and people) I know are curious, not defensive. 2️⃣ Ask why, not just what Don't just dismiss someone's approach. Ask why they do it that way. You'll often find logic you hadn't considered. Their reasoning might not work for you, but understanding it expands your thinking. 3️⃣ Test ideas before rejecting them I've seen traders dismiss strategies without even paper trading them. Some of my best setups came from ideas I initially thought wouldn't work. Give different approaches a fair shot before writing them off. 4️⃣ Recognize that context matters What works for a $5,000 account doesn't work for a $500,000 account. What works in high volatility doesn't work in low volatility. Respect that different situations call for different solutions. 5️⃣ Stay humble The moment you think you've figured it all out is the moment you stop growing. Markets change. People change. What got you here won't always get you there. Being right isn't as important as being effective. And sometimes, being effective means letting go of the need to be right.
