In his post-match team talk, captain Lewie Coyle dedicated the victory to his late father, Chris, who passed away suddenly in 2022. And what stayed with me was how he spoke about every player having a “why”. When you’re a player, people see the result. They don’t always see what you’re carrying into those moments. For Lewie, it was his dad. For someone else, it might be a parent who drove them to training, a family who sacrificed everything, or a person they wish was still here to see it. This says a lot 👏 Pep Guardiola has admitted regretting not giving Joe Hart a proper chance when he first arrived at Manchester City in 2016. I remember it being a HUGE early call; Hart had been at City since 2006, won a joint-record four Premier League Golden Gloves, and seen the club transform. Football updates have officially gone airborne ✈️🏆 An Arsenal supporter was mid-flight with no WiFi, desperate for updates as the title race was unfolding. So the crew got creative and sent him an ACARS message from operations with the score 😅 Imagine finding out your club has won the league through what looks like a receipt from mission control!!! The best bit? He’s framed it. That little slip of paper probably means more to him than most souvenirs ever could; the beautiful game has a funny way of turning completely random moments into lifelong memories. Football never fails to find a new plot twist 😅😱 Southampton have been expelled from the Championship play-offs after admitting multiple breaches of EFL regulations around the unauthorised filming of other clubs’ training sessions!! Imagine playing 40+ games across a season, getting yourself into the play-offs… and then being disqualified like this 😬 Middlesbrough are now back in and set to face Hull City at Wembley, while Southampton have also been hit with a four-point deduction for next season. Honestly? It’s nice to see proper officiating… Premier League’s turn now 👀 Jokes aside, this is a MASSIVE statement on standards. Because if clubs are gaining access to another team’s private preparation, it’s not “elite detail” or “just part of the game”. Preparation is part of football. Marginal gains are part of football. I love this from Wolves 👏 They’re inviting fans to Molineux for a wellbeing and mental health training session, giving supporters practical ways to spot when someone might be struggling and support each other on match days. Aside from the “after this season, they’re going to need it” jokes, this is a really important move!!! Fans spend years following their team through every high, low, false dawn and “surely next season” moment 📈📉 So it feels right that the game gives something back. This is INCREDIBLE 🤯 Rachel Entrekin has just become the first woman to win Cocodona 250 outright, one of the most brutal ultramarathons in the world: a 253-mile race across Arizona 🏜️ She completed it in 56 hours and 9 minutes, reportedly sleeping for just 19 minutes along the way!!!! That’s nearly 10 marathons back to back, through desert heat, freezing nights, almost 39,000 feet of climbing, and the kind of sleep deprivation where the mind can start playing tricks on you. She also broke her own women’s course record from last year improving by nearly eight hours 😱 What I love most is that Rachel didn’t just come back to win. She came back to find her ceiling 🚀 And this wasn’t by chance. It was months of work, a very casual level of superhuman behaviour, and one question: why not me? Maybe that’s the bit we can all borrow (NOT the 253 miles 👀)… Just the belief that there might be more in us than we’ve tested yet 💫

Last few days saw my sitewide CVR drop by 50% overnight coupled with large traffic increases. Checked ad account and my CPC for some high spending ads in the US was around $0.13 Meta randomly spending a lot on audience network placements for some ads with extremely low CPC’s, terrible CVR and bad CPA’s Anyone else seeing the same thing?

After Barcelona’s latest La Liga title win, they did it again!! 🏆 Fernando was once a local goalkeeper, but reportedly stepped away from football after the passing of his own father. So for Pedri, this is more than a post-trophy kickabout. It’s a tribute, a family ritual, and probably one of the most personal penalties he’ll ever take.
