11 people with ties to US space or nuclear information have d*ed or mysteriously vanished in recent years.
The list, which gained significant traction in early 2026, includes high-ranking figures such as retired Air Force Major General William Neil McCasland, who disappeared in February 2026 after leaving for a trail run in New Mexico.
The common thread cited by investigators and online researchers is that many of these individuals held high-level security clearances and access to classified data related to advanced propulsion, nuclear materials, or Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
Among the most prominent cases on the list is Monica Jacinto Reza, a director at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and materials engineer, who vanished while hiking in the Angeles National Forest in June 2025.
Her work involved specialized metals for rocketry, leading to speculation of a connection to McCasland’s past military research.
Other missing individuals include Melissa Casias and Anthony Chavez, both employees of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Steven Garcia, a contractor for the Kansas City National Security Campus.
These disappearances are being looked at alongside the deaths of scientists like Nuno Loureiro (an MIT nuclear science professor) and Carl Grillmair (a Caltech astrophysicist), both of whom were victims of violent crime in separate incidents.
Carl Grillmair was known for helping discover water on a distant planet, was found f*tally shot at his home in Llano on February 17, 2026. He was discovered on his front porch with a torso wound after authorities responded to an early-morning call.
The most recent death to be linked is the 2022 passing of Amy Eskridge. She was 34 years old and warned 'my life is in danger' shortly before she died. she allegedly d*ed from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head in Huntsville, Alabama on June 11, 2022.
While the White House and FBI have acknowledged they are aware of the pattern following questions from the press in April 2026, authorities emphasize that there is currently no verified evidence linking these cases.
President Trump has vowed to look into the scientists who have gone missing or turned up dead: "I hope it's random, but we're going to know in the next week and a half."
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also said she would seek answers from relevant agencies after being asked about by the press
