HELP. My boyfriend says he wants to buy a house together, I asked him if my name is going to be in the title of the house and he said no. He got mad and said I don’t trust him. But he wants me to make house payments and contribute. He says “whatever is mine is yours and vice versa” but is actions say otherwise? What should I do? I don’t want to make investments in a house that isn’t mine as much as I love him.

NGL I chuckled a little when I read that Meghan Markle is now charging around $3,000 for people to attend events where they can have lunch with her and take photos. The desperation is loud for someone who was once part of the royal family. Meghan Markle probably wishes now that the roughly $45 million spectacle surrounding that royal wedding had just been handed to her in cash instead of being spent on the so called fairy tale day. Because imagine going from a globally televised royal wedding at Windsor, backed by the British monarchy, to a few years later trying to sell access to yourself at lifestyle retreats where people pay thousands just to have lunch with you and take a photo. I must say that is quite the trajectory. She walked into one of the most privileged positions on earth. A historic institution, a global platform, lifetime relevance and the chance to actually do meaningful work on the world stage. Instead she spent years insisting she was bigger than the institution, that she had better ideas, bigger ambitions and grander plans waiting outside the palace gates. Now the grand vision appears to involve monetising proximity. Pay a few thousand dollars, sit in the same room, take a picture, listen to recycled empowerment speeches and walk away feeling like you brushed shoulders with someone who once stood on a royal balcony. No doubt some desperate influencer chasing clout will happily pay for it. But the contrast is brutal. From representing the Crown at state events to effectively selling meet and greet packages. From royal platform to personal merchandising. That is not exactly the glow up people were promised. I almost felt sorry for her. Then I remembered the self serving narratives she pushed against the very institution that still remains the only reason she is relevant and the convenient victim card she keeps playing. And suddenly it just looked like karma. And suddenly it was less tragedy and more poetic justice. ✌🏻
