Transgender person but not 'out'. Hoping to connect with friends old and new. I'm a bit tarty but not averse to blocking people who send me unwanted Messages. X

If you’re a trans woman & JKR likes you, she calls you “she”. If you’re a trans woman she hates, she calls you “he”. I’ve encountered racists who call black strangers the “N” word, but who wouldn’t say that to their black friends. Both examples are morally bankrupt.

Hey @parkrunUK - The vast majority of us out here who are not transphobic will happily chip in to help your legal fees if the Transphobic Mob attempt to sue. Keep up the great work bringing communities together and getting people active!

There isn’t a single trans or intersex woman dominating her sport. There isn’t a single trans or intersex woman dominating her sport. Since the IOC has created a rule for trans athletes to compete in 2003, over 81,000 people have become Olympians. Out of those 81,000 Olympians a total of 2 have been trans women & one came dead last the other came 37th out of 42. Even Caster who is the most famous, & most successful, intersex woman athlete doesn’t “dominate” her sport. Caster has won a total of 2 Olympic golds medals & holds no world records. By contrast, Katie Ledecky has won a total of 9 Olympic gold medals & has broken 19 world records youtu.be/B8CzqxhZk7I?si… Fact ~ There is no evi- dence (not a single study) that shows trans women who suppress their testosterone (through gender affirming hormone therapy & /or surgical gonad removal) or 46 XY DSD athletes such as Caster Semenya competing naturally possess any physical attribute relevant to athletic performance that is neither attainable nor present in 46,XX women. Gollish et al. 2025 which shows that WA's DSD regulations aren’t backed by performance data. Gollish et al., found Caster Semenya Runs like a girl. open.substack.com/pub/rogerpielk… New systematic review with meta-analysis ‘the most comprehensive’ synthesis to date (52 studies & 6485 participants) found trans women do not exhibit significant differences in upper or lower body strength or max oxygen consumption relative to c1s women. bjsm.bmj.com/content/60/3/1… The @iocmedia blanket banning #transgender & #Intersex women and girls from the age of 12 from competing in the female category of sports places themselves on a slippery slope. Safety has no gender, sex or chromosome status. The sex, gender or chromosomal status of an athlete does not create any inherent danger or risk to safety. Rather, it is dis- parities in strength, speed & endurance and/or physique of each individual athlete that may, depending on the sport. These blanket trans and intersex bans have NO scientific justification on fairness or safety grounds in a Olympic sport. The IOC blanket trans and intersex ban , totally ignores the massive diversity among trans & intersex women in body size, physiology, training history, athletic abilities etc. transresearch.org.au/post/trans-wom… Professor Andrew Sinclair is Deputy Director of the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Melbourne. He discovered the human SRY gene and has continued to research gonad development for over 30 years "The IOC states that SRY gene is a reliable test for determining biological sex and therefore who can complete in women’s events. However, this policy is based on the overly simplistic idea that the presence of the SRY gene alone is equivalent to being male. Male sex is much more complex, involving multiple genes other than SRY in developmental pathways as well as hormones. The presence or absence of the SRY gene does not determine the range of human sex characteristics. Individuals with differences of sex development may carry the SRY gene but develop either complete or partial female bodies while others develop male bodies but lack SRY. All the SRY test tells you is whether or not the gene is present. It does not tell you how SRY is functioning, whether a testis has formed, whether testosterone is produced and, if so, whether it can be used by the body. The SRY gene alone should not determine who can compete in women’s sport." theconversation.com/world-athletic… There are over 250 genetic variations among athletes that have proven to have a significant impact on athletic ability, unlike the SRY Gene, bone or lung size or endogenous testosterone levels in transgender or intersex women. Australian law makes these regulations illegal on several grounds. & The performance science does not support a blanket ban. sbs.com.au/news/article/a…

🚨 The heterosexual organisation, oddly named ‘LGB Alliance’, are calling for the government to ALLOW conversion therapy torture to continue… That means LGBTQ+ people would continue to be tortured, just because of their sexual or gender identity.
LGB Alliance@AllianceLGB

lgballiance.org.uk/conversion-pra… We’ve written to MPs to explain how Conversion Practices legislation will harm young lesbian, gay and bisexual people. The appropriation, by the TQ+ lobby, of the historic abuses suffered by gay people in the service of their homophobic agenda is abhorrent. Read our bulletin here.

So...transphobes have targeted the Women's Institute, leading to many closing; they've targeted Girl Guides, leading to many girls quitting; and now they're targeting a free run. Basically, if women like it, transphobes will go out of their way to ruin it.

Has Sharron Davies considered fucking off and starting her own run where it’s just sad middle aged white ladies who obsess over bathrooms? Maybe they can call it the TERF trot? Or the bigot bash? Joanna Cherry can do genital inspections upon entry.

On this day in 2014, Harvey Milk became the first out gay elected official to be honoured on a United States postal stamp. Democrat Harvey Milk became the state of California’s first out gay elected official in January 1978. He served as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors until November of the same year, when he and city mayor George Moscone were assassinated by Dan White inside San Francisco City Hall. Speaking at the dedication ceremony for the Harvey Milk Forever Stamp, Deputy Postmaster General Ronald Stroman said: “Let this stamp remind us of the fundamental truth behind Mr. Milk’s message – that we all have a stake in equality. Let this stamp inspire a new generation to continue Harvey Milk’s legacy – to keep working toward a world where prejudice gives way to acceptance, where division gives way to unity, and where fear gives way to hope.” 📷 Getty
