So I switched from @AnthropicAI's Claude Max 20x to @OpenAI's ChatGPT Pro 20x and... I regret not doing it sooner. The results are night and day. I loved Fable 5 for its design. That's all I used it for. However, after every attempt to reduce token consumption, I would still burn through my weekly usage in 1.5 days... I stuck to low and medium efforts. I found way too much of my effort going into how to reduce my Claude costs than just... Building. Opus 5 dropped my development database on accident. I had to stop it 8 hours after asking it to align an icon and change some text because it had gone down a rabbit hole of fixes all on its own. GPT 5.6 Sol, so far, just... Works. It sticks to what I ask it to do and stops. I've been hammering it all day and I've somehow only used 8%?.. This includes an initial start of having it thoroughly analyze and get comfortable with my entire, very large, codebase and prep itself to build. I find it much faster than any of the Anthropic models, but this may be because it just does what I ask and stops. I've given it tasks that I feel like it completes in a fraction of the time that Claude would have. I used to burn through 6 Claude Max 20x subscriptions a month — CA$316.40 a piece. ChatGPT Pro 20x was only CA$282.50. Honestly, if this is what I've been missing, I'm not surprised the number of users that OpenAI has managed to gain. This is more exciting than when we got access to Fable 5 for the first time.

So long, @AnthropicAI · @ClaudeDevs. The lifted restrictions from the CVP were great, but with such low limits, it's essentially unusable for what I need. On the first day of Opus 5, it completely deleted my development database. Yesterday I gave it instruction to "align the chevron on the page," "and, "add groups to the list of filters," and left. When I came back more than 8 hours later, it was still running. It had noticed other areas of improvement on the page, via expensive visual inspection, and spent my usage going down a rabbit hole of redesigning nearly all of my UI components. I tried everything I could come up with to reduce token usage. Lowered to Opus 5 medium, used Fable 5 only for creative design, etc. I get a few pages, and about 1.5 days, out of my weekly 20x Max plan. $316CAD/month for this is… ridiculous… and this is with an additional 50% usage? Imagine when that's gone. Time to see hat the hype over @OpenAI's Sol is all about.

In the event of such an incident, @thsottiaux would have reset the rates already. Strangely enough, Anthropic inevitably refuses this kind of community work.

@ClaudeDevs Well, ya didn't reset when you released a new model, so I guess it's naive to expect it now.

Two incidents over the last 24 hours resulted in elevated errors or reduced availability on Claude for some users. Multiple separate network failures cut into our capacity to serve Claude, and some requests failed while we rerouted traffic.

I've been running mods and plugins through my head and I cannot for the life of me figure out how this was faked but it definitely is with that boost meter. It's in-game (all UI pop-ups show) and you can't see opponent boost meters. No clue

Opus 5 is amazing at front-end work… but between it accidentally dropping my entire development DB and getting stuck on seemingly simple tasks for *hours* (changing a sentence)… I’m really struggling with not jumping ship.
