📖 End of a Chapter First and foremost, I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported Rocket Planet throughout the years. You guys have made a massive impact on not only my life, but all the dedicated staff who have helped keep our services running for all of our users. The removal of trading has had a devastating impact on the community we care so deeply about, but we intend to keep pushing on regardless of the challenge. This isn’t the end of the road for Rocket League at Rocket Planet. We will continue to support our bot that you guys have brought into 40,000 Discord servers and helped us achieve a reach of more than 4,000,000 Discord users. We truly appreciate your continued support! ⁉️ What's Next? We will be pivoting all of our trading channels to support Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) moving forward. With this will come a full, professional rebrand of the server while maintaining the Rocket Planet name you guys have become accustomed to. Look out for this coming soon. We aim to improve the CS community by developing tools, such as our Discord bot, much like we offer for Rocket League. You can expect giveaways, livestreams, and more. @MimicalRL It's very true — we've got about 6 years of MMR data for 400,000 accounts on it. The MMR of your opponents or teammates do not affect your gain, loss, or sigma variation. If yours showed different, it was likely an error with your plugin, tracker, etc.

@RocketPlanetGG This isnt true mr sigma. It still depends somewhat on the difference in mmr's. Ive played a 3s game before (100 games in 3s at the time) and gained 15 from winning against someone much higher, and when we lost to them we lost 5. This shouldnt ever happen so late.

@MimicalRL The effect of, "I won 10 games and only went up one division, but lost 1 and went down 2+ divisions," is never actually true. Your sigma only ever drops.

@MimicalRL As you play, your sigma slowly settles to 2.5, which equates to around 9MMR gained or lost every game. You will only ever gain or lose that amount each game, regardless of win or lose streak. Any difference that you see is down to rounding.

The difference being if Bakkes had written permission.

@rlpeak_off File manipulation is different to what Bakkesmod was doing, and is strictly against TOS for online interactions

@hiarun02 I have the $100 Codex Pro plan and the $280 Claude Max plan. I get 2-3x more done with Codex than I do with Claude. Claude still runs out ages before my Codex does. I’ll run out of weekly Claude usage on my third day. I like them both, but holy shit does Claude go fast.

The competition is on, Anthropic is doubling rates. Codex customer loyalty/retention is gonna be put to the test.
