Ridiculous decision. Every World Cup brings the nation together, hundreds of thousands of Aussies standing shoulder to shoulder, around the country, often through the night, even in the cold and rain to share in their passion for the @TheMatildas or @Socceroos Kids, families, all cultures, faiths. It’s an important time for Aussies to feel together, watch the world’s largest sporting event, share in the national spirit. The vision of fans in different cities all sharing in the experience has become a hallmark of both female and male World Cups, connecting the country through ⚽️ All stakeholders should be working to overturn this absurd decision. Whether @FootballAUS @aleaguemen, the PFA as whole of game, along with members of @VicParliament, @cityofmelbourne And @JacintaAllanMP should intervene.

@FootyonNine Last year played 2 games in WA and split them (better than their record in Melb), this year the AFL decided to give them 3 games in WA. Also as for this years draw have been to Perth Canberra Adelaide and Geelong already, so hasn’t been that easy.Also over 8k of members in WA

Over the last month we were competitive with the Lions for three quarters, smashed the Tigers, stayed in it with the Giants right until the final siren, and matched the Cats for a half before they kicked away with 16 goals after the break. Take Aidan Corr out of this side and were 2 goals up Our defence is the difference Forward line is elite and midfield is elite ( somehow we’re losing centre clearances😂?) Dawson and Whitlock can’t develop any quicker

The Elijah Hollands situation is sad and disturbing. It’s beyond bemusing how none of the Carlton players or coaches intervened at some stage. People are taking videos from row 68 and no-one in the actual team realised or chose to do something?!
